I've had the poor luck to know a couple of people like the MC, people so full of self-hatred that they want to poison other people with their malignancy. I don't think I'll ever understand why they think spreading malice is how they want to spend their time. The world is dark enough as is; if we humans can't bring a little light to this world, then what is the point of life? I like a good creepy story but remember, you have no idea what battles other people are fighting. A little kindness goes a long way.

Thanks for the warning. I have stopped listening to some narrators because of their very extreme content without a forewarning. Nice to be comfortable with a narrator that obviously cares. 😊

Wow… this is both really fucked up that certain very real people like this (even if this is somewhat exaggerated and dramatized) are being used to create “entertainment” for sickos like us, which I feel is almost dangerously counterproductive (even if the main character gets his comeuppance by the end somewhat), but at the same time this is a very effective and frightening story, and well written at that; so I suppose I’m somewhat torn in how I feel about it even existing.
