this is similar to an episode of the original STAR TREK where an alien that feeds off of anger emotions forces the humans and klingons to fight each other. The creature goes away when they figure this out and refuse to continue fighting.

Man, this entity is petty and childish. Does anyone think that a species so developed could still be so petty? I don’t think aliens would have human traits, the traits that make us such a horrible species.
