Stray Kids has 8 members ranging in age from 22-25. They're truly self produced, and have been since before they debuted. Every single song has their name on it, and most songs are written/produced by our genuises, 3RACHA (Our main rappers, and leader, Bang Chan, who can do everything) But every member has composing/producing credits. And they don't have an entire team to write a song like a lot of groups. Very few of their songs sound the same, and they always stay true to themselves. Our rappers are amazing but also have great vocals. They're truly one of a kind, and the only K-pop boy group I listen to bc of their unique sound and being self produced.

Stray Kids got me into k-pop, I actually never thought I could like k-pop music but I've been a Stay for months now and Skz is just full of surprises. I recommend "Maniac" "Venom" "Thunderous" "Topline" and "Freeze"

Straykids are my all time fave kpop group! Their leader Bangchan hand picked the members, which is extremely rare in kpop bcuz 99% of the time the company forms the group. StrayKids don't gaf about haters or following the mainstream. They create whatever they want and love to experiment with music and sound. They produce, compose and write their own music (also rare in kpop). So far they've created music in over 40 genres and have been classified as their own genre called mala taste. Mala taste is a Chinese term to describe a spicy, numbing hot soup. They mix in anything and everything in such a mind boggling and addictive way that you find them strange but addictive to listen to. Please keep checking out StrayKids. You won't regret it!

7:09 this part honestly cracked me up ‘cause if you ever get around to watching behind the scenes or humor compilations, you’ll find that a lot of kpop groups, but Stray Kids *especially,* are very affectionate and touchy with each other. They’ll hold hands, be clingy, hug, playfully/jokingly flirt, and compliment each other by calling each other “sexy” or “cute” or “cool.” Part of it’s a culture difference and part of it is that Stray Kids is a big dorky family and have lived together (previously all 8 in one dorm, now in separate 4-person dorms) for years. So brace yourself for some touchy-feely stuff if you do go beyond music videos😂

For me personally, Stray Kids are the only kpop i would still consider by now even though i knew kpop for 12 years. They are just DIFFERENT 🙏🏻

I can see there's a number of biased comments. Let me explain. Other groups also have great tracks, whether they produce themselves or by others. It's all comes down to personal taste. Stray kids are the only group that I follow. First, i like their sounds, and second, I need to curb the spending on albums so 1 group is enough. But mainly for their sounds 😅. Once you dive into their discography, you'll realise they do not sound like typical Kpop. Take care all.

This group is my ultimate kpop group. Period. They are so unique, all of them are so talented, they write, produce and compose their own stuff and truly all of them can do it ALL. On top of all that pure talent, they are truly lovely people and their bond is incredible. While their sound is very much a unique thing, they delve into dozens of genres and incorporate them to make new, refreshing sounds and honestly, they've never missed for me. I hope to see you dive into their (considerable) discography and take in more of their stuff.

Fun fact about their music videos, most of the things you see were actually there. Here are most of the ones I can think of is S-Class. 0:59 and 8:47 That city and everything you see is actually real including the helicopter in the distance. They filmed that part with a drone, and they actually danced on a platform in the middle of the river. And the lights are actually there blinding anyone who walks by during the filming 1:58 and 8:40 They actually had fireworks set up to explode behind them 2:13 (I just find this one cool) the people and creatures you see there are actually there like the horse with the soldier 3:36 The area they're in: The only part that wasn't mad by the production team was the ceiling for which they just had a green screen (There are 8 members in SKZ (Stray Kids)) 3:57 and 6:52 the fire above them is tied to a drone 6:47 (I just find this funny) They danced with people dressed in all black staring at then dance while surrounded by fire 7:01 They had an actual car just set up. You can see it better here- 7:24 7:26 They actually set up a car to drop at an exact time while filming that part

My ult is Stray Kids, hands down. (They are actually one of the best selling snd most popular srtists in the USA by the way.) They write, compose, produce, and even arrange all of their own music. And they sre considered to have the strongest rappers in all of the 4th gen... however even one of their main rappers is am extraordinary vocalist. Their music is VERY diverse, they are capable of very soft beautiful rock ballads... but they prefer the realm of hard rock im the dirst half of their discography, slowly transitioning to predominantly hip-hop and rap in the second half. While thier producing unit, 3RACHA, has always been a hip-hop crew. I also have a lot of love and respect for Seventeen (they are a 3rd gen group, whereas SKZ came years later and are 4th gen) in world popularity, they're tied with Stray Kids for the second most famous kpop groups in the world. And they are the best dancers hands down, as their ability to cordinate 13 people is off the charts. They were one of the first groups to truly make writing and composing all of their own music something to admire and be importantto the listener. They are incredibly talented. They have a very R&B × Rock N Roll type feel to them. Then, of course, Ateez, who are amazingly talented vocalists (the best vocalists of the 4th gen in my opinion) and who ALSO write and produce a LOT of their own work. (As you can see that is very important to me) they are also VERY high on the list of the most popular groups. And are quickly making a massive name for themselves with very heavy metal/rock type sound recently, which I must say, is working very well for them.

😃Welcome to becoming a SKZ fan. You REALLY should check out some of their other mv's and songs. "God's Menu, Thunderous, Easy, Venom, Freeze, Maniac and Christmas EveL mv's. And the sub-unit 3RACHA's (which are Bang Chan, Changbin and Han) who also write and produce most of the groups songs. Check out 3RACHA's song (no mv) HeyDay and some of their songs (again, No mv, just words to song). They also wrote 2 OST songs (beginning and ending songs) to the Japanese anime "Tower of God", songs "T.O.P. and Slump". THEY "are" the MAIN reason I started listening to Kpop, which to me, they are on a WHOLE different level, they are like No other Kpop group out there.

My top kpop are stray kids, ateez, AgusD, KARDI and xdinary heroes. If you do wanna dive more into skz, God's Menu is prerequisite. Thunderous I think is up there too. And Freeze (but some people either love or hate Freeze. I fkkin love it). The one in tiger stripes is Changbin, he's got a solo called "Cypher" that's probably my favorite thing. And "Doodle". The one right after (you called Asian eminem) is Han. He's got a bunch of solos too, "I got it" and "Volcano" are my favorites by him. Changbin, Han and Bang Chan (the leader of Stray Kids) started as a rap Trio called "3racha" that I think you'd like. "HeyDay" and "Scissor" might be my favorite 3racha works. 3racha is still also the primary music producers for stray kids songs.There's other subunits and members worthy of note, but this might be a good starting point, imo

@2:13 on your video.....when the mirror breaks, you see all kinds of things.....blue floating goblin fire (an Easter egg reference to the music video for their song, "Thunderous"........there's a chef to the right holding a cake (an Easter egg reference to the music video for their song, "God's Menu" (a few of their other M/Vs have cakes in them, too) ).........etc. Stray Kids love to hide little things like that in their music videos.

on the topic of hand holding, the culture is very different in Korea so holding your friends hand or doing things that would be considered "sus" in America are normal there! (like hugging, cheek kissing, hand holding for example). Plus the fact that the Stray Kids members have been living with eo for years now, so theyre super close!

You gotta check out their song Topline feat Tiger JK. Its their first time ever featuring another artist on their work and it is huge because Tiger JK is considered the godfather of korean rap/hiphop. He really shaped scene back in the 90s along side Yoon Mirae(his now wife who is half korean half black) and shes absolutely phenomenal too. Stray Kids really proved themselves to be the best of the best with this album. It got 5 MILLION preorders making it the bestselling album in korean history. And theyre only a 5 year old group. All with their own beats and own lyrics 7:13 In Korea and a lot of Asia (and Europe too) its actually the norm for guy friends to be a bit more touchy than in the US. Although Stray Kids are very cuddly dudes even within that if you watch the behind the scenes making of this music video specially youll see it right off the bat lmao. Theyre super close so they joke around a lot just a heads up for when u check out their other mvs and stuff

i'd recommend stray kids God's Menu if you want to get hooked to them they're probably if not the greatest, one of the greatest rap groups in kpop
