the sad thing is, most of the people who escape this lifestyle end up becoming crazy and getting in a lot of trouble or just live miserably. this is because they want to do everything and don’t know what to do with themselves.

@@shaina8947 I wouldn’t generalize it as religious abuse. That’s like says Islam is abuse just because it’s different from the average American. I mean, they can leave and not follow the religion. There are obviously some cases of abuse, just like there are cases of abuse in other religions and cultures. But that has to do with bad people.
They’re not escaping- they’re taking part in an Amish tradition called Rumspringa. Amish teens go out in the world and they can either stay Amish or leave. This is really popular and common.
It’s funny but also sad that in XXI century people can be so isolated from normal life and not knowing basic things, i feel so bad for Amish women forced to do many things and not being aware how life looks like

Honestly I feel guilty for laughing because the edit is really funny (great job as always Offensive Tea), but the girls look so absolutely lost and confused and I really want to help them figure things out
They really don't understand these everyday objects.. it's not their fault they just literally haven't seen them until now, they have different cultures and lifestyle. And it's better to respect them because these people are literally risking a lot, even their safety sometimes, to be free and live a modern life which is basically a whole new world to them.
all jokes aside tho they just left their entire lives and everything they know behind to live in a completely different world. they probably feel like they’re in another dimension so i dont blame them for being scared.

I have three things to say about this video 1. its hilarious and I started dying when the American horror story theme song started playing 2. This channel never dissapooints me and always manages to leave a smile and my stomach hurting from laughing too much so I hope whoever runs this channel is doing good because I know covid this year sucked and took a toll on a lot of peoples mental health.
