That's the kind of day I had at Guntersville, back in April. In 3 hours I caught 12 or 13 blues, each between 31 and 54 lbs. It was the trip of a lifetime ! Always great to fish with ya, Dave ! 😂
I have been watching Catfish Dave for awhile now. I live in Minnesota, and I'm still loving it. We only get to use 2 lines while winter ice fishing, 1 line in the summer. I feel that I'm watching a total outlaw sometimes!
Lots of nice fishies there! And the Hillbilly music in the background is so fitting! Dave have you had your yearly prostate exam? I'm sure at your age it's about time. Yeehii!
Loving your new camera gear Dave, definitely worth it. I know you will get the hang of it too, technical difficulties can be a pain. Nice catches, great vid! Stay safe!
THAT was some SERIOUS workout Dave . lol That last one was a solid 50 pounder for what I could tell . :) That would have worn me out in that time period . lol
All the years I cat fished and I did a lot of it that the swifter the current the faster they woould start to die out of water and the slower the current they lived longer out of water. Nice video Dave and another good catch fish!
great video Dave, sure wish you would weigh them big ones helps me learn what they look like when I see a 40, or 50, or 60 great day on water thanks !!
Another great fishing video even in cold weather, good long johns will keep your butt warm. I've already heard too many Christmas songs, but I'm willing to hear any holiday music you put on.
Before he became popular we discussed Cherokee Lake. He didn't much think it productive. 60s' n 70s' we were tearing up game fish on that lake. I do believe he has a new found consideration. 😊
Dave would you show a close up of your flote rattle i have never seen one here in Calif.and is it in line or tied on?Being a catfisherman myself i sure enjoy your videos thanks alot and good luck
I use to take a sandwich for the sole purpose of Eating to get the Bite Started, it never failed. The moment I cleaned my hands and started to eat all the rods would bend.
Really enjoy your videos Catfish Dave and also learning a lot. I’ll be fishing lakes in Oklahoma, hopefully using techniques I’ve learned from you. One question: Did you make the rod holders yourself or can I get them from a commercial source?
Whats the water temp down there? I went out here the other day with water temps at 41 and couldnt get anything to look at my baits, was using fresh shad from that day. Tried spot locked and dragging...any suggestions?
