I can't understand why hiding his identity is beneficial? It's doing his wife more harm than good. It's giving his scheming brother loope holes to manipulate his wife. Hidden identities is too ignorant now.
The lead couple are two that I’ve always liked, FL has good acting skills and sensuality to her personality when paired with the right ML. I’ve always found ML adorably cute😊 there’s just something about him that I really like so I’m always keen to watch his dramas. Although I’m not done watching this yet, but I don’t like that fact that his identity was hidden cause he knew that the situation broke her making her feel like an adulterer. I’m not even talking about the outsiders comment, but how she feels. Even if he wanted outsiders to think he’s not her fiancé and they keep pointing fingers, he keeps defending her and so on …I would’ve really been fine with that script as long as FL knew from the beginning so she won’t have to hurt. Then maybe they can keep playing the villains until they finally find out that the supposed vegetative hubby to be is actually him and they feel stupid. I’m just saying this would’ve been a better route for the script cause I really don’t like that she was made to hurt for a situation she’s clearly innocent about all cause of a hidden identity. I’ll always say hidden identity saves the FL a lot of stress, it won’t obviously stop the bad guys but it’ll make them a step ahead in fighting them as a United front. I’m really looking forward to less hidden identity plot for unnecessary reasons. I love their pairing tho🥰 and FL’s stupid sister pink two-piece she wore😁
I honestly don't see any reason why he should keep his identity a secret from her in the first place. It just causes more problems than it solves. In fact, she pretty much encountered the same problems anyway because the people who know him could see she was important to him.
Especially when she found out early on it was the step sister that arranged the gang r*pe...the Li family didn't even know about it, until he came to rescue her...
Why can't this idiotic FL character stay close to her husband for safety instead of going to parties and squabble with people? What is she doing in this place without her husband? So annoying🙄😒
😮😢😂,Nee Cast and crew members with good acting skills,but same old story line hidden identity and drugged , misunderstanding 🤔 between the cp😅greedy scheming sister and mom, grandpa stole the show,and stepbrother greedy scheming vindictive,eanting everything and willing to kill for it.😭🤔 but ml managed to keep everything together and a rushed ending,but 😊. Let's bring them back with a better script,8.5/10no cultivating of relationship 😞.
Plot is stupid. Why would ML just not tell her the truth about his identity, misleading FL and not admitting his identity until the end of the story? FL is written as very stupid and weak. She constantly gets herself into situations of getting almost r*ped and getting drugged. ML actually drugs FL and sleeps with her. That's not romantic, that's also r*pe. She also forgives him easily at the end. Production of drama is also cheap. Characters own 1 outfit throughout the entire story.
It’s a twisted game of someone who likes to toy with and manipulate people. There is literally no reason to do this and it only serves to hurt the female learns feelings and put her in danger.
It's been awhile since I've seen this FL. There's nothing wrong with this drama except the plot is weird. I get why he hid his identity INITIALLY, but after she started to misunderstand that he was married, it made ZERO sense for the ML to continue pretending he wasn't her husband.
Yes. It feels like the male lead takes a perverse pleasure in toying with the female lead, making her think she betrayed her wedding vows. It only served to hurt her feelings and put her in danger. Why did he do this?

@@angelabobotildon8092yes. I really hate these dramas that start with sexual assault and make it seem like that’s ok. It’s not. He was completely sober and he knowingly slept with a drugged woman. And then gaslights her by not telling her who he is so she thinks she broke her wedding vows and is not good enough to marry into the family because she isn’t “pure” now. Unnecessary and gross!
I waited for the real story to unfold. It just ended. It was then I realised that the story about hidden unnecessary identity. It started so well and could've developed into a good movie. Actors did a great job though.

First time watching these two. The FL has great acting skill. I like her expressions. But I dont like her character. Gotta learn to slap & kick back those vicious people. The ML is abit stiff and has alot to improve. Personally, I find him not really a ML material 😬. Not sure why but his acting feels cringey to me 😬. Too much dialogue(dissing & mocking) in one scene. Dragging on unnecessary part. I skipped alot of scene. No chemistry between the leads. Could not feel the spark 🤷🏻♀️. Hope to see more FL works with better pairing. She’s good.
Too much slapping and strangling women for no reasons at all. Conversations tension goes from zero to hundred in two seconds. There’s no build up to conflicts. Script poorly written. Why do they always make female lead character dumb and weak and reliant on someone else to save them?
She met what she thought was a married man for dinner...she asked why his wife had not shown up....she didn't ask his assistant where the supposed wife was when he was in surgery, she acted the next of kin dealing with hospital papers...do the actors not have a say on how their drama is progressing?...I think they don't have a script. ..I think the director and actors just do scene by scene. ...
6:00 I think the writers of these dramas need a lesson in CONSENT! taking advantage of an obviously drugged woman is wrong. And the male lead not explaining to her only leads to her unnecessary suffering. She thinks she was drugged and slept with a random man and so is “unclean” and unfit to marry into the family. It’s basically a date rape situation where she knows she was drugged and slept with the man - but she doesn’t blame him because he wasn’t the one who drugged her. How awful to wake up with a strange man and think that.
Why these Chinese dramas always shows misunderstandings, abuse, toxicity, hidden identities, reborn. can’t they make new n fresh concept instead of all these unnecessary idiotic stuff?
