I’ve gotten banned once for griefing a synced art canvas (that wasn’t actually synced in my instance, and was in an inaccessible spot) during a multi-instance event, and sharing that with the owner during the event. Although the grief I did during the event didn’t show on the owner’s instance of the event, I was still banned due to “[abusing] a glitch to disrupt an event”. Now the owner of said event won’t let me back into their rooms anymore.
Honestly the reason why i dont play rec room anymore rec room now has one of the worst community in a game ive ever seen just so toxic cant even enjoy the game anymore than not to be cussed at by kids and having moderators who just ruin fun of the game
Got reported by a vmod for saying the n-word(er) when I never did, made a ticket and never got banned after getting timed out for 1 hour, what a joke. Keep in mind I'm an ex vmod so why tf would I be saying the n-word🤡🤡💀
@illegalslimjim yeah, when I was a vmod I never made a moderation mistake (meaning like reporting someone that didn't quite rule break yet, didn't deserve it, falsely, only ever reported someone if I was 100% sure that they said something and deserved it and rule breaked)
Volunteer Mods cannot ban you, your more likely to get banned if they report you but they can not ban you. Number 2 you could have gotten reported by people in the game it could have been anyone reporting you to get banned/timed out
True & True, however if you waited till the end you would have seen the email i got back saying i was reported by a "Trusted User. Secondly all vmod reports are on the top of the pile for manual reviee
I got 3 infractions stacked up (Warning, Timeout & finally Ban) in under 30 minutes due to 'Trolling'. While, the first warning was fine, as I was playing some NSFW joke sounds with my friends, I got back into the room and started playing more clean meme sounds. Unlucky me would I not know that a v.mod was getting annoyed, which led me to a 30 minute timeout and a ban for 90 days. I can't even appeal it, as they keep taking my 'moderation history' and that I was apparently showing 'Sexual Behavior' in the instance as a reason for such a long ban time. Keep in mind that the event only had close friends inside of it, NO ONE was annoyed AND I was absolutely SURROUNDED by room moderators, and even the owners themselves. V.Mods should start to understand that it's not themselves who they moderate for, they moderate for the OTHERS.
