Hey NL, it's about 4 o'clock in the morning and I didn't accept the queen trade, instead I threatened his queen and backed mine out which led me to endgame still having a queen, after that and some trades my opponent made a fatal mistake of loosing his *queen* to my *pawn* without me having a disadvantage. His ego was crushed and he resigned immediately. It was a 10 min game and I have 500 points not 1500 but still it's so satisfying.

That last game was great. You should feel proud honestly. The computer is the perfect endgame machine so you will make some mistakes compared to its lines when there are less pieces on the board. But overall it was just good play without any huge blunders.

NL if you continue to do chess analysis I highly recommend copy pasting the game pgn to the lichess analysis board, it has a better engine and you can self analyze more easily.

I came here for Elden Ring content and all the sudden I’m a chess spectator. This has been my favorite series! Love watching the analysis too as a beginner- I have no goddamn idea what’s going on so listening to the egg debate a robot is helping me develop some brain cells.

The thing is, Enelle is a godgamer at many single player games (e.g. Isaac, Spelunky, EtG, StS, DC) so every time he plays chess, I feel like he thinks he’s going up against a grandmaster who always makes the perfect moves so he fails to recognize their blunders and mistakes since again he’s so used to playing against flawless A.I in so many challenging games he’s good at. -commenting for the algorithm, NL is the most entertaining chess player, bless this series- thanks for the company.
