If the loan sharks are respectful and level with you, then yeah... fine, we're cool. But our gangs out here don't play. Me and my circle aren't gang affiliated, but I know cops, I know US marines, and I've worked with gang members. If a "your in debt" situation surfaces, I make a phone call, and the loan sharks are never seen again. So I like seeing comic dubs like this because realistically, in my area, Yakuza wouldn't stand a chance. We're all armed, and none of us are afraid.

I Like This Manga and Couples

Just FYI, 5 million yen is $35,000 US. This family is selling out their son for (half of) $35k. That's pathetic. For maybe 5x, I'd understand the desperation. In this sort of story, the yakuza dad is looking for some excuse for their daughter to leave the family and go straight, so his side is understandable.

A plot twist that wouldn't be so surprising is the reason they needed to get the debt. In the first place was because the Yakuza was actually sabotaging the success of the diner in the first place. Nothing the game besides the diner. Even if you're not interested in the diner the location could be of interest alone. You know the same type of logic that is protection money from themselves. Also I have to call that out he calls it for light when she was telling him to shut up and man up. When the Manning up hot would it be to pay off the debt not take the marriage route. Lol Parents saying we never meant to hurt you then later admits to increase in the debt intentionally because they felt the mayor was just going to fix thing. Not counting that stealing money from your family is a conscious decision. Intentional one. So transparent but yet accurate to life.
