These hackers are literally terrible, they hacked a nearly 800k subscriber channel to have no one see or react to their shenanigans (Live streaming, making vids on his channel)🤦🏿💀
This whole incident is making me think how secure we all truly are digitally. The fact that the hackers can bypass two factor authentication with ease really worries me.
As a guy who works in cybersecurity, the stories I see and hear of should scare everybody into good security practices. Glad to see you getting your stuff back man, with you for the return grind.
@@stevenzheng4493 2FA should be enabled for your accounts. Do not use the same password for your accounts. Follow password complexity suggestions: 2 lower, 2 upper, 2 numbers, 2 special characters. Try to have passwords no less than 8 digits long. Try to have both a primary email and secondary email, use your secondary for “riskier” activities or sites that you may be unsure of their security standards. Ensure your recovery methods are up to date and usable.

As someone who also works in cybersecurity, why...? Unless he shows us that it was some 'crazy' way he was hacked and not just some simple phishing email? Do better, if you're actually in the field.

it may look like that, but for 72 hours of the week, my channel looked like a crypto scam and a tesla scam, i didn't even know if my videos had been privated or deleted. Luckily they were privated, but once a public vid goes private and then back to public, it destroys what the vid performance was and according to RU-vid, may never come back. So forget the stress I went through the past week, moving forward, I'm still dealing with the aftermath even if from the outside, the aesthetic of the channel looks fine
The first thing when I saw MJ2K with a livestream with Trump's face on it, I knew something was wrong and immediately checked on other social media. The only reason I didn't started shouting myself is because I saw your tweet that you knew so I was glad you at least were aware (since IDK what to do in that situation, you da GOAT man)

I didn't know that you were hacked or shutdown. This whole time ⏲️ I was subscribed (never unsubscrbed) and I'm still showing subscribed while at it. Maybe there's an agenda behind screwing you up. I have a history behind you. I kept seeing 👀 you come up on my recommendations. I always disregarded because I thought it was another Jordan Stan over praising him. So after like the 20th recommendations came up I was like "okay, what's this kid about". To my shock it was nothing about Jordan and I guess MJ was just your name or initials. I still remember the old "please subscribe" low echoing scream sound you used to put up. You're like my 3rd favorite basketball RU-vidr behind Johnny Arnett and Andy Hoops. I went through a similar situation with FB. Turns out that a corn star had attempted to access my bank accounts from my FB. Lost my page but got everything else back
