I watched both of these artists on X Factor. Ella was 16 and had written her audition song, blew everone away. James looked like a fresh faced countryboy and was so nervous, but again blew everone away.

James Arthur is the GOAT vocally and lyrically… writes all his own songs… they were on Britain’s Got Talent together and did this for fun… u gotta check out More James Arthur if u don’t kno him OMG… the emotion and abilities in this man were God given

btw they said "it's been quite some time" because actually James and Ella wrote the song but James then was replaced by Tom Grennan as a singer as James was busy with other projects :)

Ella co wrote this track with someone else, I think - it's a cracking song and I really like it 👍 I LOVED X Factor (and the one on the other channel who's name I can't remember). Anyway, in return for this crazy ass deep information, I ask only two things: 1. You have a listen to another X Factor performance: Lauren Platt singing Pharrell's "Happy" 2.
