Definitely get a second opinion the hospital missed a fracture with my husband. I’m a nurse so I insisted they X-ray and get a CT scan on him again.

2 ruptured discs in my neck. Had to wait 8 1/2 months for first fusion and 13 years for the second one. Im perma fkd. I swear doctors want to find as little as possible if anything at all

Good call, but depends if they worked him as a trauma. In my hospital he’d be a Trauma protocol 2 based on MOI. So he’d get bloodwork, X-rays and full CT. That hospital is shit if they didn’t work him up under a trauma and it looks like they didn’t because he was in the ambulance with no C collar and in the hallway when he got to the hospital. The medical system there looks like it sucks.

They missed a fracture in me twice. Went through pain for years to tell me later theres fractures. After ankle surgery to remove the broken bone pieces. It was honestly better dealing with the pain cause I cant walk as good on that foot now.

Just saw the reveal video. Sucks if it was the MV that got totalled, but at least you're somewhat unscathed, the ankle shit sucks, takes some months to get over, but it rather quick to heal, you're in great shape too, so that will help a bit, I think, so happy you're still here and healing, to a speedy recovery!

Glad to see you are okay for the most! When it comes to insurance. Don’t let them force you to settle. Take your time healing. Keep records of loss revenue due to being injured. Don’t just jump to an attorney.

when I got in a motorcycle accident I shattered my elbow and broke my kneecap in half. First hospital said they had no trauma surgeons so I needed to go to Mass General and that my knee was fine. I told them 0% chance it's fine, it hurts worse than my elbow that was in 45 pieces. Long story short the surgeon said he'd check my knee during my elbow surgery bc I couldn't move it and they found the break and I Was wheelchair bound for over 3 months. Make sure you're confident in your diagnosis.

I'm far from an expert but I have heard that the hospital can miss fractures, so if you feel like something isn't right get a second opinion. Glad you're safe man. Also I don't want to sound like a douche, but just be careful if they gave you any painkillers. I ruined 10 years of my life being addicted to drugs, all because I got hooked on opiates after an injury. Keep your head up brother, the bike can be replaced, but a Dillon can't.

Now you can get the RR instead of a base SR. Oh! Glad youre OK. Proofs that helmets keep.your dome from being blown out on the pavment. I stopped riding at nite because of the insane entitled drivers we must deal with. That say you were going too fast. Because they cant rationalize the closing distance of motorcycles. Instead of just waiting for us to pass and not just gingerly pull rigjt out in front of us. And then blame us for hitting them... These Karens, Darrens and Lil karens and Darrens. Have overun our city streets with their lack of respect for anothers safety and no accountability for their very dangerous actions when encountering motorcycles

Praying for you man. Two months ago same thing happened to me. But my left shoulder was completely crushed, and the left side rib cage was crushed. Rib 1 broken. Ribs 2-6 have a multiple 11 fractures. Scheduled for total shoulder reconstruction surgery next month. Keep your head up, brother

When I was in a motor cycle accident ( rear ended too) my solicitor (lawyer) said not to post anything online about it until the legal proceedings were complete. For a high profile moto vlogger like you I think this advice would be even more important.

Heritage insurance company in Georgia helped me out so much with my car accident. I didn't have to pay anything and got paid 10k afterward....after they sued. DEFINITELY SUE! Get a lawyer go to the doctor. Chiropractor. Rack up the bill and have the perpetrator pay for it. God Bless man. Stay safe out there. See you out there soon! Get better.

Was in a serious crash, hit & run cager, died in the ambulance, resuscitated, shattered my pelvis (right side), ripped my femur out of the socket, 4.5 hour surgery, blood transfusion, & a lot of therapy! 2007 CBR 1000RR...Still riding her (Phienix) to this day! Date of incident: September 13, 2021. Life is short riders! Be safe, safety gear, and vigilance AT ALL TIMES!

Same, May 3rd 2024 here in Jax Florida I was in a hit and run, drunk guy ran a red light while I was in the intersection. Broke my shoulder, ankle and wrist. Totaled my bike that I had to auction off and have bills stacking from not being able to work. My insurance declined the claim because he didn’t have insurance, and I couldn’t afford uninsured because I’m 24/yo male so prices are absurd. Glad you have a support system with RU-vid man fr, no one not a single soul has helped me financially. My GoFundme raised $0 and it hurts man. I’m so happy and glad you’re okay brother, you’re the one who got me to purchase my R1 ❤️ heal quick and heal right my man.

everybody, including wifey, always clowning me cause i reduce speed below limit near intersections and two-way single lane roads....I do it for that reason, idiots running red lights and idiots making left turns on you. I often have other idiots be annoyed at how slow I go (30-40mph at times) and they just illegally pass me, it does get me heated but then I think about it and thats one advantage of having a bike, these idiots can just easily go around even on single lane roads when their impatience urges them to, which is like a matter of seconds.

Bro. I just went thru the same thing except it was my right leg/ankle .. punctured lung and cracked ribs. Wore a heart monitor from a Hit and run. Destroyed my brand new r1. I feel ur pain. I just got a brand new s1k. Be patient do physio u'll heal much stronger. Keep riding. Uv inspired me 💪🏿 from Canada with love. Also get that second opinion. I did two days later. And the first hospital didn't tell me about my ribs... The second hospital did .. please recheck ...it's worth it

Stay safe bro. People are crazy out there. I am 9 days removed from a motorcycle accident. 84 y/o old male got in front of me without yielding on a 55 mile speed limit highway. Glad I was able to walk out on my own. Left shoulder still hurts and left elbow abrasions still healing.
