Thanks Joan to mention her glamour. I loved watching her at events and what she wore, hats dress... plus the fabulous jewels!! I am and will always be a fan of the Queen. As a working women I admired her due diligence, her commitment, and unrelenting dignity for all people!! I cried all day yesterday. God Bless Her!! ❤️🙏
Yet "The Defender of the Faith" was silent, when Christians are arrested for preaching the Bible in the UK (Pastor John Sherwood, 71, London), Pride-ideology. No matter, this world shall pass. 2. TIMOTHY 3: "12 Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution."
I’m not from the UK. I’m not from the Commonwealth. And yet I cried yesterday. And I cried today. And I keep tearing up when I hear tributes like this one. May Her Majesty Rest In eternal Peace. She transcended boundaries during her lifetime & she was loved by millions of people regardless of their background.
Me to I'm Irish and me and my sister out for a girlie day .Not on are phones at all having food my sis checked her phone ,next she's crying she said the Queen has passed. Well both of us sat crying uncontrollably .what a woman .
I agree...Sadly, The Queen & her generation possess a fibre of being that is in very short supply now. With the passing of generations, we seem to lose a little bit more of the good that people are influenced by....
Aw, a sweet tribute from Joan Collins regarding the Queen's passing. May I also say that Miss Collins (now 89 years old) is simply amazing? Those are wonderful photographs of Queen Elizabeth ii and Miss Joan. Cheers from Canada! BTW our wonderful Queen visited Canada 22 times during her reign - more than any other country with British ties. Indeed, she once remarked (upon arriving in Canada), "It is wonderful to be home."
It’s true! The Queen was a joy to look at, absolutely gorgeous. I never, until now, realised quite how beautiful she was. That radiant wide smile and graceful, upright demeanour expressed her generous spirit.
She was indeed lovely and glamorous. Many people only think of her as a beautiful older woman but she was especially beautiful in her early years as Queen. She was exquisite!
The Queen was lovely. I remember she was constantly compared to Nancy Reagan in the 1980’s - the media narrative was that even though they were the same age, Nancy was more glamorous and the Queen was dowdy.
Yes..the queen was a nice looking lady, right till the end...nice wide smile...very appealingly..looked nice on the coins ,stamps and note money..and pictures on wall...she has been the most famous person in the world.
Exactly, it's kind of like losing my Scottish great great auntie, my tea time buddy, all over again. She even dressed like her with the matching outfits, pearls, brooches, hats, gloves, etc. A truly classy, extraordinary woman. R.I.P your Majesty, we will miss you dearly.
Mr. Morgan. I Loved your tribute to the Queen. A constant presence in a changing world. Our Queen. Such a sad day. Big shoes to fill. Dame Joan Collins. Looks amazing.
A fine actress, classy Joan Collins. A real celeb, not like these silly social media/ reality tv "stars" today. God bless the Queen, God save the King.
A fine actress? Joan Collins? She was a 'B' movie actress during her time in England with Rank studios, moved to Hollywood in 1955, given a contract with 20th Century Fox studios and dropped by that studio because she could not act or move up from her position of starlet. She has never made a classic movie, or received a major award for film acting, for 'TV' acting yes, she received a Golden Globe award for Dynasty. She has however remained very glamorous, and she does look amazing for a lady of her age. However, the term 'Fine actress' in my opinion does not apply to her. Thank you
I love Joan Collins. She is another UK treasure that is irreplaceable. Hearing her share her priceless memories of being a young girl during The Blitz and her memories of a young Princess Elizabeth. Piers, thank you for creating such an intimate show. It’s so comforting.
Funny how three of the queen's sister in laws where all married to high ranking Nazis...WW2 was planned genocide by the Bankers and royalty...you are suffering Stockholm syndrome.
@@metalicminer6231 My comment was about r Joan Collins and HER memories, not a fawning adoration of QEII. Besides, QEII was not married to Philip during WWII, she did not have sisters-in-law during the war.
Joan Collins - a beautiful screen icon. Like the queen always perfectly attired. A true lady. These wonderful characters are totally above the garbage going on in the world. They never play the pathetic victim. Always strong regardless.
There will never be another Queen Elizabeth . One in a million 🥲♥️🙏I will never forget her . Her eyes showed her good soul . Joan Collins looks fantastic too . She also is a special woman ! Great Actress♥️
I love Piers. He's the REAL thing. Smart, Honest. Love Joan Collins. Still a raving beauty. And sincere. And I'm American but I adore the AQueen and have her picture in my home. I'm also a Royalist.
Thank you for this Piers, it is wonderful to see Dame Joan Collins - who looks so beautiful. I agree that the Queen was very glamorous and it would be fascinating to know more about it. I know that her Personal Dresser, Angela Kelly, has written a book, which I have on my list to buy. I very much enjoyed the conversation with Joan and it is wonderful to hear all the stories. I have never heard from her before. Thank you, Joan.
I grew up in Canada and am now American. I’ve always had an affinity for the Queen and my mother liked and admire her and PPhilip. I was surprised by the level of sadness I have, I’m still somewhat shocked and devastated by the loss. In some ways she reminded me of my mother so that could be part of it, she was also a kind, resilient loving woman of faith who I found remarkable. Its interesting to see how everyone has such intense reactions to her passing. “Grief really is the price we pay for love”.
Yep, my son came home to me in tears here 🇺🇸 He asked if I was still crying about the Queen. Yes I was and continue to do so through the past days. She was a great stabilizing force for peace and comfort across the globe 🌎
Dame Joan Collins is another icon of the UK population and an icon of mine where i grew watching her as a beautiful person and actress. The doodle bugs of the second world war my gran passed away used to speak of them as Joan described the noise then the silence before the explosions. I think everyone who grew up with the late Queen feels the burden and impact of such a loss.
It was great to hear Dame Joan speak about our late great Queen Elizabeth. I think that Joan speaks very fondly of her and the memories she shared with Her Majesty. I think women like this are hard to find..
The Queen was better than any other, who ever lived. She reigned over the Commonwealth for 70 years whilst having children to care for as well. No one could ever compare to any of that. May she rest in eternal Peace. Long live the King!
I am British , I feel very sad but awfully proud of Queen Elizabeth . I am certain King Charles will meet the challenges ahead. We must be loyal and support him , even if only in spirit. Joan you honored the Queen so well. You are wonderful.👏👏👏
She took her role as Queen very seriously. That commitment did shine through and never faltered. My favorite of her many fabulous qualities is that she was NOT a "talker" . She only spoke when it was absolutely necessary and I loved that. Is one of the things that kept the mystery alive.
I remember magazines and journalists had written articles on what the Queen carried in her purse or handbag. The Queen pulling out the marmalade sandwich finally answered that question lol. May you rest in peace your Majesty you will NEVER be forgotten. God save the King
I feel so lucky whenever I get the chance to listen to the wiser and more experienced, time is a bugger .. eventually it keeps taking wonderful people from us, may we all value them whist they are still around. She's one of them..
I was honoured to meet the Queen at a garden party in Buckingham Palace due to my husband’s military service…..what thrilled me was, we were the same height……she shook my hand and exclaimed I had pretty gloves ❣️
King Charles' speech wishing his Mama flight with the angels as she went to his dear Papa made me cry. God Save the King and his Queen Consort. Queen Elizabeth was such an incredible woman.
Yes! I found that immensely moving ...when King Charles mentioned his Mama Flying with the Angels...!! He still such a boy at 💖... simply beautiful ❤️❤️❤️
Joan is wonderful. A class act and the last of a certain breed. You can see the respect for the queen in her eyes, it’s genuine. I wish we could bring back some of the classiness and good etiquette these two women stand for.
The wonderful Joan Collins so beautiful and such a lovely down to earth lady. Kind hearted and had such a great memory of meeting Her Majesty The Queen. 🙏R. I. P.
Joan just gets prettier w/ time. Such a lovely lady. Hope we have her until well past 100. We all will miss the Queen so much. Her grace and grit is rare in todays society of self-obsession. I hope Charles will take the same approach as the Queen of not letting we personal opinions be injected into his job. We in America know she is going to be sorely missed by you as she was always there to guide and comfort her country, but I have always looked at her as the worlds granny w/ her humor and duty. We always enjoy when you have Joan on as a guest.
Thank you Dame Joan Collins. Takes a role model woman to understand & recognise another role model woman like her Majesty Queen.👸 may she rest in heavenly peace.
In 2001 I was sitting at a $2 Blackjack table at Belagio in Las Vegas. Joan suddenly appeared with a few friends and sat next to me. A crowd subsequently swarmed around our table. You could hear a filthy woman saying nasty things about Joan. Joan heard it, and gave no reaction. She just let it go. A strong woman.
I remember the queen coming to visit Victoria bc when I was 6. In class we made flags for her. She walked by us all and she said how she loved our flags. I am 58 now and will always remember that special day.
Thank you for sharing. I absolutely adore Dame Joan Colins . She is a star that outshines all others . A legend With a beautiful personality to match her stunning outside beauty . I really appreciate how she spoke about our Queen..thank you . God Bless the Queen . God Bless the King. 🇬🇧💛🤍
I’m still devastated here in Louisiana USA. I’m 54, she’s been a constant my entire life. Such a beautiful, strong leader. I feel dreadful for King Charles III and the Royal family.
This is a lovely interview Piers Morgan! 😍👍 thanks so much.🙏🙏. Dame Joan Collins is always so beautiful and so sweet looking. One of my favourite stars I admire a lot. 😍😍😍
