@@louiswendt4371 its called stereotypes. Many people blame chinese people for covid, tell people from other countries to go back to their country and despite not being exactly in purpose, it annoying to have your name pronounced,
Serious question about "left over lady". It's come to light more recently about it being a thing in China, is there a term for it in the Indian culture as well? Or an unspoken? I'm not going to criticize culture norms, just going to state that no one, regardless of how different, is valueless. Also, I'm sorry anyone has to suffer because of stereotypes.
@@sergeshow4292 her jokes are offensive and strengthened the stereotypes of Asian women. Many people think Asian women are easy girls. That’s why they think she is hilarious. It’s simply disgusting.
"Just take me home and eat me" She said it without blinking or vulgarity. Her calmness should earn her an Oscar I cant remember how many times I watched it. Awesome
As a Singaporean of Chinese origin myself, I have never laughed this hard. Her humor is essentially being 150% self-aware of many of the stereotypes of Chinese & Asian people, while at the same time shitting on our own culture in a nonchalant way. LOL.
@mikoy huio Oh for crying out loud, you can't be serious. If you're not trying to be funny, you succeeded nonetheless. There are many things in this world we cannot make fun of. One of the last things we CAN make fun of is ourselves. And we desperately need to. Try it sometime. Oh. You did. She is funny because she is able to show gentle differences and coincidences in her culture, her age, her gender, etc., and compare and contrast that to others. She uses word play, and by that use, demonstrates her intelligence. She isn't calling herself or her family or culture racial slurs, she isn't calling herself mysoginisitic epithets. She is noticing and laughing about social and other differences and uniqueness, and she's damn clever about it. The net result is someone who clearly is PROUD of herself, her family, and her culture. She is doing more to bridge a cultural divide and foster understanding using the one universal language we have - laughter, than all the after school specials put together could ever do. Somehow, you missed the entire point. Tell me...do you have a sense of humor at all? And if you think you do...what IS funny to you?
The fact she can make you laugh this hart, when talking in a serious tone, that proves that she is really a next level comedian. So down to earth. Love it.
I don't get why the judges didn't give her the golden buzzer. She's the best act so far. If she's in America, she would have got it. These judges are terrible.
@@russelllapua4904I'm American and I'm tired of the sob story routine on AGT. Anyway, with the name He, and a mother like that, I'd say that girl has some real "Emotional damage." But seriously, I haven't laughed this hard in a long time. 😄😄😄😄😄 She's Golden Buzzer worthy. 👍👍
I usually NEVER laugh at comedians anymore because they are more crass than funny, but she had me in stitches the entire time!! That is true comedic talent right there!!!
@@hannabeit0316 lacking refinement and intelligence, crude, insulting, overly sexual, more for shock value than actual humor, completely lacking any form of cultural sensitivity.
Yeah. I'm a really tough laugh. I don't laugh out loud at much of anything, but this woman had me actually open mouth laughing. A rare and amazing occurrence.
Probably the first comedian I’ve actually ever laughed at, genuinely, and I don’t normally find comedians humour that enjoyable but I really wanna see more of her. She’s great!!
I am sorry you don't know me I was browsing through my suggestion list when I came across your eye catching profile and thought of knowing more about you,I hope you are not mad?
The things that I appreciate about comedians the most is their ability to tackle difficult topics in ways that people can hear--in a way that defies the status quo. She was priceless to listen to, and I hope she has a long career in comedy.
That is a master class in self deprecation. The delivery of the jokes were so subtle but then once you connected the dots you laughed hysterically. I have legitimate happy tears running down my cheeks because I was this impressed! What talent!
The highest commandment from me for this performance! Being a comedian/comedienne to me must be one of the most difficult jobs from an anxiety angle. She has just nailed it in her non native tongue in front of the nation and a massive audience and judges!
I am an Indian lady.. & trust me I could relate to Each & Every word that you said! Kudos to you that you turned your adversities into laughter. 👌 That's why, I don't take any opinions from this judgemental society seriously & simply focus on the fun factors of life. Hopefully, like you I'd like to head somewhere abroad someday.
Well, this woman is funnier than almost every mainstream female comedian I've seen. She's cheeky without being excessively vulgar and her delivery was pretty good. I hope she goes far in this competition.
@ILEME Chukunonso What? Lol, Talk out of your ass much? 😂 Her delivery paralleled neither gender. If anything, her approach & jokes leaned towards the female persuasion. I think we've got ourselves a comedian here!
Her English-is-not-my-first-language cadence really lends itself well to the humor 😂. It’s those slight pauses she takes before punchline that really makes it land well
@@samuraijosh1595 Have you Not watched alot of other comedians in this world using their origin as the material for their jokes too? Not going too far, check out the other comedian guy who earned Golden Buzzer for jokes less funnier than her.
Sadly though, the other comedian guy who wasn't funny at all from start to finish, was given a Golden Buzzer by the judge; for that i was super confused.
The whole performance was fantastic, her delivery is great, jokes are spot on end everything. But "I was like, what the heck mom?!" absolutely killed me 😂I'm literally crying, made my day, hell, made my entire week 🤣
@@ComedyGlor oh I see what you mean, but I still might push it. If she goes to the finals and wins the million dollar prize she'll get lot's of recognition and be on lot's of late night TV shows performing and be performing in the limelight then and we'd all get to see more of her then. My thinking in judging would mostly be based on how deserving the act is to be celebrated and rewarded at the time more so than how much I want to see more because I feel like seeing more is garunteed with positive reinforcement.
Love her! I was in tears! She took all these negative experiences I could relate to and made it funny! I laughed so hard the entire time! I am a fan! Best wishes!
@@chopsticksandtrains How is life there in China, Sir? (I'm so sorry, I mistook your YTname for a female) Btw, I am Asian, I live here in the Philippines🇵🇭 Stay healthy! 😊

@@chopsticksandtrains I checked your channel earlier, I'm gonna watch those soon, I just have to go to sleep 'cuz it's late now 😊 Wanshang hao 😴 PS: Lovely to know that you were traveling here! 😊 How is your family doing?
Chloe, Perhaps she resonates with you because you're Asian and Australian. I'm half Chinese and although I didn't grow up with the usual Asian pressures I can understand the push back by young Asian Australians. ☮️❤️🦘🇦🇺
Amy Isaacs No, I think she needs to continue as she is and get a real fan base going. It won't be hard, she's so good. Comedy series are the kiss if death for sharp, edgy, candid comedians IMO. Because they're homogenised to appeal to a vast and faceless audience. She needs bums on seats and an audience to read.
I LOVED her! She was hella funny! She made really clever and sarcastic jokes, some of my favourite kinds for sure and her words, had a nice flow to them
She absolutely killed it! Saw her other video from a while ago which featured mostly the same jokes, but this time she polished it very well to suit the TV and her delivery is epic! 🎉🎉🎉
