So young and gone through a lot of hardship. I wish they allowed her to finish at least secondary school. Her problems began with getting married off at 13. Women should be respected and their voices should be heard. So sad that hey push her to early marriage and then abandon her when things don't work. May God heal her broken heart and bring beautiful things her way.

Hi I agree with you but where's the mosque in all of this...she was married of with an agreement from her parents and Herself plus the kadhii's court is the only organ that interceded meaningfully on her behalf giving her back full custody of her kids and ordering the police to enforce the order ... but on everything else am with you

Well meaning lady but she should not have stayed with someone who did not want her to get a reason. There is no reason. And why withdraw a case before you have what your children. She does not understand and is being poorly advised by her family, which makes the situation worse. SMH.

Her parents were selfish and greedy for agreeing to marry this kid at a young age. She was defenceless and couldn't make that decision had she been given the chance to. A 13yr old kid knows nothing about marriage let alone a relationship. Now the father wants nothing about her kid coz she is a divorcee, she didn't even instigate the divorce herself, what is wrong with some parents really. In this I blame her parents who agreed to this sickly decision of marrying their daughter.

The fact that the second wife and mother do not express their disapproval of taking her children and mistreatment of the children is the real tragedy. Their customs allows this treatment but her parents and uncle should feel betrayed by her ex because he and the mother lied to marry her and then he lied again to the uncle to convince her to drop the case. The men should feel he owes them something even if he does not want the wife. It also appears he does not want the children either.

Why does the govt of Kenya allow peple from this region to marry off children below 18yrs yet in other parts such men get jailed, by the way? I am happy I live in a free world. This would not happen here. They ask the Children who they want to stay with. Then schools are free, the mother can raise the kids on her own and gets an allowance to care for the children until they turn 18. In between she has enough time to look for a job and be stable. Medical insurance is covered. Africa is a joke. The children have a VOICE. They should stay where they choose. She had a daugher. Breaks my heart. They will marry her off too. Children are commodities in Africa. What a shame
