I love this because it shows a side of Ronnie that not many people see. He always has to have this hard shell on because he gets attacked so often online and it's great to see him vulnerable and an iconic artist giving him props.

I don't think Ronnie shows his work to anyone until it is exactly how he wants it to be. I think that is adding to his nervousness. He definitely has a lot of respect and wants to convey that.

I truly enjoyed your reaction to this! Ronnie was so nerves and I’ve seen this video before, love it, they toured together a couple years ago and Jacoby said he was for someone to reimagine one of his songs and Ronnie wanted to and got Jacoby’s permission to do it! Ronnie said he does look up to Jacoby and says younger performers are trying to keep up with Jacoby, Jacoby is high energy every time I see Papa Roach live, he sounds amazing puts 💯 percent every time he sings, he’s truly authentic every time and Ronnie said he’s taught him to appreciate his fans even more and hopes to have the longevity like Papa Roach and Jacoby have! I have full concert footage I put up of their tour together from Youngstown Ohio and footage from other shows both have done! I hope they tour together again, last time Hollywood Undead and Ronnie’s original band Escape The Fate went on tour all together but gotta tell Ronnie is what made Escape The Fate exciting to see, he’s a incredible frontman the new singer is good but he’s no Ronnie by any stretch of the imagination! By the way Jacoby wrote the song about his friend that was a room mate at the time, the song was about his friend, they found him, after he tried to commit suicide and got him to the hospital on time. He was in a mental hospital for a while but got better. Ronnie basically was left by his mother I believe after being a year old so he felt connected to this song for sure. Sorry, I just realized I watched your Poplar Monster reaction before, thank you so much for these Falling In Reverse reactions, I love the breakdowns!!!

Lol I don't know if anyone has told you but it's actually Jacoby - not Jacob. (Jack-oby) And he actually had been seeking out someone to remake the song for the 25th anniversary of the song. Ronnie took it on, and from what I heard, he went into record the first time, ended up doing it so well they kept it and that's what you hear here, and in the studio version.

After I heard Ronnie's reimagined version I immediately wanted another Papa Roach song reimagined by Ronnie. The song is "My Heart is a Fist". Its probably my favorite Papa Roach song and it lines up perfectly with how Ronnie made Last Resort. Would love if that happened (probably wont but just writing it puts it out into the universe lol). Glad your wife is helping you get through things.

It's always one of the biggest compliments I have ever heard is when somebody says it don't even sound like you they didn't know you had it in you.

I believe this came to be when they toured together on the Rockzilla Tour. It was a great show, it was the first time I seen Both of them and it was amazing.

This is an unmastered version (you can hear a number of differences, but they're mostly instrumental), but he still wanted an honest opinion from Jacoby because he clearly wanted his stamp of approval & this song definitely meant something to Ronnie. I don't know for sure, but I think Jacoby may have done backing vocals on the finished track (specifically the "I can't go on living this way" line) because this unmastered version is all Ronnie on vocals.

Papa roach ask ronnie if he could do a cover of last resort. They were looking for someone to cover and decided to ask him.. this was before the Rockzilla tour they did then he showed him on the tour.. was a sick ass tour..
