The Penguin is just a mobster tv show, I was hoping to a more "comic book" tv show.

Originally, they were going to just have Farrell in a suit with very little make up, let alone prosthetics. I'm happy with what they wound up doing. I doubt he is after 4 hours in that makeup chair, but it works.

I agree 100% like Kelly Coco who plays Harlie Quin, I did not even recognize it was her until I seen the credits cause Penny and Harlie are 2 totally different characters. Great actors can really sell the role and make u believe in the character. Anthony Rap as Homlander is an other example he looks totally different out side of make up you would never guess it is him at if u seen him in the streets out of make up.

Actually, she’s the BEST animated comic book character. How awesome she’s does as her. Yes, Conroy IS Batman and Lukeslywalker is JOKER. However, Kelly Cuoco is BETTER as Harley 😀

I could also go on about this cast all day. If you like Cristin Milioti then you have to see Year of the Carnivore. A very quirky movie that she absolutely carries with her charming performance. The actor playing Victor was also in The Runaways series of course. So far, I'm really liking this series, and it reminds me a lot of Gotham's Penquin, who was the best part of that show. Not sure how Oz Cobb is going to take over things with only the help of Vic though. He will need a much bigger crew that he can count on.

Oh, wow. Your opening reminds me of seeing this 9am press screening of Dark Places (really good Charlize Theron film about surviving a multi-family unaliving, ptsd, survivors guilt, incarcerated brother etc etc etc). It was brutal. By 11am I was emotionally spent and had to binge How to Train Your Dragon to go in the entire opposite direction. 😂

I live in NY and I was blown away how certain scenes (especially subway) looked soooo like NY.. I had very low expectations and I'm glad I was wrong.. this show is amazing..the penguin was always my least favorite Batman villain, but Colin and Matt brought something darkly beautiful..in one episode I actually had sympathy for the penguin..the scenes with him and Victor were actually somewhat moving..felt the penguin's utter loneliness and low self-esteem from his disabilities... And Sophia...WOW!!...Damn I'm lovin this show....

I liked Titans, warts and all. Doom Patrol too. They never knew what to do with either of them, so hopefully Gunn has some good ideas.

R - Rated Batman better follow. I'm still not 100% on board with "The Batman" I'm not all for Matt Reeves vision. However, I did agree on some of the casting choices. I do like that you mentioned the Telltale series.

Oh if u want fantastic show with every actor Patric Steward acting level and out standing story, you should look into Babylon5 if u have not seen it, I would recommend giving it a shot.

Yes!! Literally " As U were saying it" I was thinking... Sopranos Breaking Bad ... Joaquin Phoenix's Joker Also Two-face in " Dark Knight" Villains as the Protagonist is very hard to do. But still a story to tell,... Carefully 😉

this opening scene made me feel too much. the actor playing alberto was the first time i was attracted to a guy when he was in Ms Maisel and then....welp i guess i should watch ms maisel again if i want this actor lol

I'll never get the need to change character names on film or tv. Oswald Cobblepot is a silly name, yet Dick Butkus was a well known successful coach in real life and that's ok... I think everyone's met a few people with names that just sound silly but are legitimately their names.
