So I was just eating my Porridge (I burned the first pan of it) and a video from ‪@ShawnTubbs‬ with this new pedal from ‪@walrusaudioeffects‬ came up. It was the most different I've heard Shawn sounding - it also reminded me that I hadn't made a video with this yet....So I plugged it in...And it wasn't at all what I expected.

The EQ settings make a big difference to the gain as they’re active and pre drive control. Running them lower as in this vid gives a cleaner, more mid forward voice; maxed out turns the pedal to a fuzzy drive (at least on the v1)

The lower gain levels sound amazing. As you added gain the sound definitely got flubbier and fuzzier and less exceptional to my ears (or maybe just less my taste perhaps). But those low gains sounds just sang! (also great playing)

I have one of these little filmosound heads made from a projector. Mine was made by at mars called the specialist. It sounds a lot like a little 18 watt Marshall to me. (The amp version)

I recommend keeping your camera in Aperture mode - F4 or F6. May not have the nice bokeh but you will have most things in focus most of the time :) !

It sounds great, but I’d like it a lot better if the second foot switch was the 385 plus. Having two low gain or two high gain sounds on foot switches is less valuable to me than having one of each on foot switches.

Man, I'd kill to hear you play without the always on delay and a little less reverb, pinch harmonics, and perfectionism for a while. You're so technically proficient, it can get a bit stale at times. Either way, I appreciate the good work you put into all this!

There is no one I trust more to deliver sound samples that line closely with tones I’d actually go for. I like plenty of opinions on gear but I get both a good and unbiased review from you AND sound samples that actually tell me what to expect from a piece of gear. Killer demo as always!

This sounds like The Dude, but with more sizzle, but it's not as hot, but it is spicy. The Dude into a TS? That's the only thing it sounds like to me. I will say this is a tone very close to what i hear in my head that i want.

I get a similar sound with my Fjord Odin fuzz going into the Crazy tube circuits Unobtanium SSS side on. Love how dynamic it plays.

sorry but this is quite farting and doesn't have clear string separation at all during chords. though I really like the form factor and the two separate channels.

The 385 sounds good like it always does here, but I wish you'd done a demo on an analog amp. The digital fizz/clipping is such garbage and the pedal doesn't deserve it.
