Some of us literally took around 10 years with extreme self-restraint not to spoil ourselves to turn to manga just to wait with the greatest patience until the animation is aired because deep in our hearts we know it is worth it. And the result? Not only worth it but the ceiling of our expectations has been smashed again and again. Go for it bro!

When Erens mother says "don't go" I always get emotional

I’m Japanese. It’s cruel and sad story but also really incredible. I strongly recommend to watching all of episodes. It takes a lot of time though.

I will never not tear up at Karla muttering under her breath "Don't go..." when Hannes is running away with Eren and Mikasa...that little touch feels so real and hits so hard 😢

The way you silently immerge yourself in the story tells me that you are gonna truly love this show, it might change how you view the world immensely. Attack on Titan even gets much better when you re-watch it (this show is finished in the manga and i've read it), every detail matters. One of if not the best written tv show i've ever seen and not many shows can make me write this.

I'm 39 years old and I've been watching anime my whole life. I've seen very good anime and some really bad. I have seen animes with very good scripts and with a perfect plot. But attack on titan is on another level. Everything in this anime is absolutely perfect. The music, the characters, the story, the script, the dramatic and action moments ... everything !! I cry in practically every episode when I watch it. I've been following this anime since it came out 9 years ago and I know that never again in my life will I find another anime that makes me feel what attack on titan makes me feel. It is totally impossible. For me it is the best anime in the world without a doubt P.d: Please don't watch the previews and watch out for spoilers

Once you start AOT, you can't stop. It is one of the higher rated Anime and the story, acting, animation, and musical scores are all very good. Be cautious of spoilers as the surprises are well worth it not to get spoiled on. The plot twists are strong with this one.

this show is legit one of the greatest stories ever written by humanity, its up there with any other great work you could think of. the story is fantastic, the execution is amazing. not to mention that there are some scenes where you can definitely tell they spent more on animation, and those scenes really stand out on their own artistic merit. its really a must watch.

Mistery survival theme but get more complicated and deep every episode. Insanity. Like other comment said, you may think "oh this season was great" but then come other season and is just more insanity. Great plot, and action sequence with epic music. People that like breaking bad like attack on titan.

AoT is a masterpiece. This pilot is not one of but the best one I have ever seen in any show or media. And believe me every episode you'll think it can't get any better but it does. Every single time. (Suggestion : Try to keep away from spoilers as much as you can. Most reactors keep a moderator, like a friend who has watched it all so they can filter out/remove all comments which may spoil anything. Also, it's great that you're watching subbed because the voice acting is just God tier, but I suggest switching on to some better subtitles. Official ones from Funimation or Crunchyroll offer the best translation, which actually makes a lot of difference in understanding the way a character or the narrator wants to express something. Again, a friend or someone could help you with that.) Looking forward to more reactions. Great work!

To give you an idea of how phenomenal Attack On Titan actually is, on IMDB it holds 2 of the top 3 spots for highest user rated episodes with only a Breaking Bad episode beating it out. It holds an addition 3 slots in the top 15.

This series is recognized as a masterpiece within the genre and the soundtrack is considered the best soundtrack in all of anime. U just have to keep moving forward.

The storyline and plot of AOT is so complex and confusing but they explain alot throughout the show, probably one of the best animes .

I had almost the exact same reaction. I was sitting on the couch when suddenly my oldest brother asked me if I wanted to see a show (he was already in season 3)... at the end of this episode I looked at him and asked him, "why are you making me watch this?, it was completely heartbreaking"... well, today is my favourite show of all

One of the darkest well-written stories I know. It still doesn't get old no matter how many times I've watched this episode. The story will keep evolving and it's all a giant emotional roller-coaster. Like, you need a tough mentality to be able to binge-watch this because it's almost always either mind-bending, or heart-stopping. Especially as the story progresses

This story has so many layers and it goes deeper and deeper and yet everything ties perfectly in the end..! You won't regret it. "To you: 2000 years from now"

It's totally worth it. I started this show back in 2013 when the English dub was coming out. I didn't have the patience so I jumped over to the original Japanese. But wouldn't you know it, there was something like 4 years in between the first and second season. It always gripped me, but I have to be honest, it was hard to follow in Japanese because, admittedly, I have a hard time focusing on my screen and so reading subtitles isn't always ideal. Anyway, I was always interested in the show and restarted from the beginning last year. It's now one of my favorite shows. Amazing music, great characters, and fantastic plot twists.

Definitely continue the series! This is one of the best stories of all time and I can't recommend it enough!

Attack on Titan only gets better. This show has everything: emotion, well written characters, fights, amazing voice acting, hype, and ESPECIALLY plot twists. Some of the biggest plot twists ive seen in fiction are in later seasons and they left me speechless haha.

You should certainly keep watching! AoT might be a little too "Anime" for absolute Newcomers, but it's one of the greatest Anime of all Time, or rather just one of the best Stories in Fiction period. It's btw great that you watch it with the original Japanese Voice Actors, you should keep it that way for pretty much all Anime you're gonna watch in the Future (Erens performance in this very first Episode alone should be convincing enough, the Art of Voice Acting is an entirely different thing in Japan - the Industry is HUGE and the Actors are insanely talented). For your AoT Journey I have 2 simple but quite important Tips for you: First of all, don't watch the Episode Previews at the End; each Episode ends with the "To be continued". You watch and wait for the "To be continued" and that's where you should turn it off or jump into the next one. These Previews sometimes just spoiler you in the most stupid ways...And Secondly (as well as most importantly), DO NOT let yourself get Spoilered ! AoT is a Show with A LOT of Plot Twists, Foreshadowing ect and YT Commenters (sadly especially Manga Readers like myself...) tend to be real Smartasses and Spoiler this amazing Experience for you, so look at your YT Comments with a grain of Salt :D That's pretty much it, enjoy the Ride and good luck with the Start of your Anime-Streak ;) I say this because I can guarantee you that you're gonna continue to watch Anime after getting hooked by AoT :D You're one of us now

This is easily one of the most complex, most brilliant anime ever created. It will drive you insane with questions at times, but not a single episode is wasted. You may need to watch some of it several times to catch everything. AOT is god tier anime.

People say Attack on Titan is peak fiction and, well... They are 100% right.

I absolutely loved your reaction to the first episode!! So much heart wrenching emotion. Yes please do continue, I will subscribe. I am an avid anime watcher and this anime is in contest with Fullmetal Alchemist for my absolute favorite of all time. It's well worth it, trust me. For my money, there is little (or even no) better first episode of a series. The absolute masterpiece. At face value, it is great- it introduces the world, the main characters, the conflict and the journey we'll need to go on in this story. On a rewatch, it is even better. The direction. The music. The intense builup uo to that fateful scene. The question raised- what are the titans? Where are the from? What is that great big titan who kicked the wall? How will we survive? What's in the basement? How will Eren and Mikasa get out of this alive? And what does that episode title even mean??? So excited to binge the rest of the series again with yall!

This was THE anime that changed my mind on all anime.
