Nice interview, some of the agents all they want is the money, no briefing or nothing at all. Thanks to u Dj for such a program because it has really enlightened us paa, I've learned a lot from your programs and it has helped me in so many ways, and av also introduce it my friends which they now watch it more than I do.
You don’t need briefing or anything,,, all you need to do is to make your own research. People are just lazy all they want to hear is “opportunities “ no homework nothing
Thank you very much DJ for this interview and taking you sir for availing yourself for this I interview. This goes to reiterate the exact same things we’ve been saying. If you have a comfortable life in Ghana please stay and build yourself, find a way to visit and make notes, do your research and decide on whether you want to move or not at your own convenience. Traveling is good, you secure a future for your kids and also an opportunity to learn and build yourself in business ideas so it’s not wrong to travel but make sure you doing it right
Given his age, experience as a marketing manager, his educational credentials, he probably should have migrated to Canada as a permanent resident via the express entry system instead of as a student.
The agent na the problem. He has himself to blame too. These agents are all cobras. Easy way for them to cash in through the simplest visa route on unsuspecting client
It is true. He shd have immigrated to Canada as a permanent resident via express entry and PNP. I hope Jarcator you will educate Ghanaians abt the other entries of coming to Canada.
Stop shifting blames. The guy is dumb. He admitted to his mistakes but still defending useless stuff. All the people running this country were foreign trained....why didn't bring the ideas to run this country like it's out there? They can't cos they are dumb and the people they aspire to manage are seriously dumb. They celebrate mediocrity.
To be honest if you don't intend to travel abroad for money then you should only travel for holidays or a short duration and not return to Ghana and not stay therr for long at all
It's funny when you hear new arrivals like this one talking as if they've had it all covered with all kinds of ideas. It's early days, the country you're in also have It's plans for you. So, hold on tight 😂
I have regretted coming abroad, it is not all that rosy. If you are well paid living in your own home then no need to travel but if you can push your kids then thumbs 👍 up
If you're a lady and you travel, it's not easy. Getting correct man to support you is wahala...If you make kids with the wrong guy too, you're doomed forever.
This is false...cos he's there to work. The holidaymakers travel not because of money. It's his stupidity that got him there. He will realise this in the next 20 years...
@@agyeimorrison He's earning like 10000+ and also getting monetary benefits based on his connections. Why will you travel to work as a forklift driver supervisor in a warehouse? He was also yabbing that he didn't travel cos of money...And I think he's lying.
Bro, everything this guy is saying is true, i ve known him since highschool very confident and sharp guy fo sure, he really get positive vibes so i m not really surprised if hes gotten this far.
He appears dumb to me tho...Why will you leave your high-paying job in Ghana to enter into forklift or warehouse stuff. Only dumb people will do this...
@@isaackusi4882there is so much information about immigration to Canada online dozens of you tubers explaining it great detail what immigration to Canada entails, the good and the bad
Hmm when they say it you won’t believe it until you travel..I was making a lot of money in my phone Bussiness and at the same time doing car business as well in Ghana and my parents filed for me to come to US I nearly went back to Ghana wasn’t here at some point I cried 😂😂you see it different when you’re in Ghana..With God we go make it 🙏🏿
You should have stayed back in Ghana. You could have really gone far with your company. sometimes it's not really about money but your impart and relevance you share in your company
Boss, you made a wrong move. Accept it and advise others against such moves. It doesn't make any sense to abandon a successful career to travel and restart life as a student. Your objective of being a rep for your family abroad is hollow. You can build your private business out of traditional employment in Ghana if you want to.
I have reiterated this statement three times in all of my interviews with DJ Nyaame, during which Ghanaians were hurling insults at me. If you have achieved substantial financial success in Ghana, there is no actual need for you to seek opportunities elsewhere. I hope all of you are attentively listening to his firsthand account.
Canada is nothing close to what they say it is. It is very much a propaganda at best a good brand without substance. Do not leave Ghana for Canada if you are making a good career. It is not worth it.
No matter how you tell them, they can’t see past their nose and so they’d argue with you. Abroad in general is for people struggling in third world countries. How would you leave a comfortable life in Ghana just to go abroad so people can say we have a family member abroad. Like I can’t even begin to understand this mindset. Colonialism really did a number on Africans.
Canada is Ontario and Ontario is Canada. Whereas the USA is NY, Florida, Texas and California in the same vein - lots of opportunities! Take your pick, Folks!
The truth to all is, as an international student in Canada, he is limited to the number of hours he has to work in a week. If l can remember correctly, it about 20 hours a week. Secondly, he's on a student visa therefore, after paying school fees, he has to pay for insurance, transportation, food, rent etc. In order for him to live in Canada after his education, he's got to find an employer that will sponsor him before he gets his residency. As a matter of fact, he is working illegally and most of those schools he's attending are shamed schools to exploit foreign students mostly runned by Indians and the likes. The same thing is happening in Australia. These type of schools are basically exploiting students. The positive about his move is the experience he's having which is reshaping his mindset.
I think it's a wrong move for him. He will realise this after 20 years. The spirit to travel outside is within the folks in Swedru and it's environs. This is fact....Sometimes, it's sheer stupidity that send most people doing well in Ghana to these situations.
Most of these folks forget that migration can be age specific. Someone who has built wealth snd doing well in his home country would also most likely be older and in his 40s. You will struggle and struggle and may not even get to where you were back home. But for younger folks in their 20s and early 30s, you can always migrate since you still have your life ahead of you, and have a grater chance of career progression.
@sonsofwealth Even with that...if you're doing okay in your 20s ...I don't see why you should leave. Most people quuck fixes and are not ready to develop real skills. Most people don't seek advice also. They just follow what they hear. If I followed my friends' advice to migrate 20 yrs ago, I wouldn't have become who I am today. I struggled for 10 years. But after finding equilibrium and moving ahead in life, my friends who migrated now envy me.
Hi Dj I happened to be going to Canada soon going to the same area and will appreciate if you can connect me with him to assist me with my accommodation.
If you doing well in Ghana don’t rush to travel not 5000 cedis doing well oo and if you still want to travel research well and psyche your mind that you going to start from scratch
You regretted going to Canada and at the same time sacrificed for your family. Which is which? Be honest to the listeners. Traveling is for hard working people, lazy people will always regret traveling abroad.
You went there for ur family, so stay there for the family 😂😂😂. Just admit that u av made a huge mistake. For me, even 2000gh i will stay for 1yr and start mobile money small small ❤
The problem is the connection men who present heaven to most of our own. If what the connection man is saying is true, why would he not send all his family there first? Think twice before spending over $10,000 USD on a connection man. You will end up being a “slave” and depressed in Oyibo land.
Massa forget this guy..He wasn't struggling in Ghana that is why he find it difficult to live in a country where he had to start struggling... Every hard guy wouldn't regret traveling to Canada... You had it on a silver platter in Ghana that is why you are finding it that way... Let us think jooorrrr
Only poor people are happy when they travel to Canada because they might earn an amount they’ve never seen.. I’m rich living in Canada since 2019…my parents brought me here and I appreciate that…the stress I go through here is unbearable..Ghana is the best place to be especially when you have money
