It's crazy the effort that would go into doing it to THIS product(I mean were not talking OG 1st ed stuff), just to make 80-100 bucks, sad. Glad you got your money back, make sure you earn others of where you picked it up from(regardless if they "say" it wasn't them, it is their responsibility to verify their products they sell and if they don't, that says all you need).
I posted the seller and conversation in my community tab , the resolution was a refund but you are correct and I haven't thought about it like that before, sellers should make sure they know it's legit or not
@@ApaulloYGOI say this from experience, I have a merchandise business myself, buying, selling, flipping etc. As a seller, if you're going to profit off something, NO EXCUSES, put in the work, make sure what you're selling/reselling is legit and exactly what you're labeling it as. "I didn't know" or "I have a liquidation box", etc is garbage and unacceptable I'm sorry. At best you're lazy and a poor seller, at worst, well you get the point... I'm glad you got reimbursed, but do yourself a favor and stay away from that seller. 👍
Probably the first rarity collection scam I've seen thus far Glad you recorded it Whose the seller on eBay by the way? I'm a regular on eBay... I want to avoid that seller
Good job you were recording , I had a similar experience a few years back and eBay wouldn’t refund me , made me stop collecting properly and now I only get an odd pack on clearance , it’s a shame there’s so many resealed cards and fakes now
I wouldn’t even be able to open it after that first pack. Yikes. I’m glad you got your money back. I learned the hard way to not to buy sealed off eBay
This happened to me when i was buying one box of maze of milenia and all the box opened i was so fucking mad at least they refund me the money it was buyed in amazon
Just stumbled on your channel, i feel sorry man. Hope you get the refund. I find this alarming. But for the most part, if it is too good to be true, don't go for it. I learned this the hard way.
Sucks this happened to you i buy alot from ebay but i always check the seals on the boxes if any of the seal is apart to the point you could pull out packs without actually taking it all off is a massive red flag send it back instantly and notify ebay it's fake with photos and video if need be always go for seal products you can actually see pictures of not stock pictures that could be a red flag too from what I've learned over the year's buying and selling
I would but the seller, after ebay stepped in though, gave me a refund and swore it wasn't them who did it. I can't in good faith share their information if I truly don't know if it was or not. Especially after they do have 100% positive reviews ya know
ebay has to give you a refund if you get a product not as advertised by their own policies. If ebay doesn't pay out, threaten to chargeback, and if they still refuse, then chargeback. worst they can do is ban you from using their service.
Never trust eBay the only good card you pull is the winged dragon of ra sphere mode card and I'm sorry for you pulling the worst card's except that card and sign me up for the giveaway please
I hope you reported this to eBay and got a refund. The worst thing about this is it wasn't a mistake. This was a deliberate, pre-meditated act of scamming. They carefully opened the box, and the packs purposely with the intent of reselling the bulk under false pretenses. They are scum.
Imagine being a bozo who doesn't know ebay acquired tcgplayer, therefore buying from either is still buying from the same company. You think this can't happen on tcgplayer? Maybe you don't buy enough for it to happen but that's your own sample size
