it is, I suppose strange how the heart is warmed by the mere mention of building your own 6502 computer, big boys toys! Just wonder if I could buy this my son this instead of a train set - worked for my dad if I recall.....:)

I'm sorry about your difficult situation :/ I hope you can figure out a way to get the tech; Ben provides a full list of the components so perhaps you can order them directly from an electronics company that serves your country.
The next best thing for the poor like me is Arduino UNO and ATTiny85, this last one is hardware debugger capable so you can also have a lot of fun playing with it.
Im thinking of doing the same kind of videos together but im going to use the z80 instead once i get all the proper studying done and actually hardware working and a properly organized plan ofcorse.
I'd suggest looking into the RC2014 if you want to do Z80. Its very epxandable, with a modular design. Shipping if from UK, but for the most basic kit its under $100.
@@squirlmy did that years ago lmao. my computer is going to be more of a controller. 32k ram 32k rom and an 8255 parallel io chip for io. and that's it.
