Hey, great reaction as always! Voctave paired with Jamey Rays' masterful arrangements, IMO, it doesn't get any better (all things considered). Please react to voctaves cover of O Holy Night! You'll lose your mind!! Happy holidays to you and your loved ones 😊
For the algorithm! 💜💚💜 This is such an underrated banger, glad to see it get some love. I adore both songs but they are blended immaculately. And yeah, those sopranos are the Spanish Inquisition - ain't nobody prepared 😉
Voctave are the real deal and the total vocal package; perfection every time! Their arrangements (yes, Jamey Ray!); the harmonies, the layering and especially their dynamics - just masterful. Please more #Voctave - any time! They've got lots of great Christmas videos you've yet to see.
I'm so happy you got around to this one!! It's one of my favourite impossible singing challenges (personally being a Baritone) and I loved all the chills that were prominently on display in tandem with my own :)
Damn I’ve had mad respect for Rachel Potter for literal years, but her rendition (along with Voctave) of I put a spell on you was powerful 😲 and as always your analysis enhanced my appreciation of the song 😊
Jamey Ray arranges all of their pieces as far as I know. He's also one of the most talented tenors in the group. Just over Rachel's right hand shoulder.
Great reaction Mortius. Any chance, since it is 20 years of Wicked, we get that in-depth reaction to the Voiceplay Wicked Medley that was mentioned in that video 2 years ago?
@Mortius Brought to you by the same mind that listened to "Somewhere" from West Side Story and though, "Wait a minute... there are 11 lines in this song and there are 11 of us... MUST WRITE ARRANGEMENT!" Speaking of which, if "Somewhere" by Voctave isn't on the list for November, I riot. You NEED to listen to that song. It WILL blow your mind!
Sorry, but I could not figure out how to pm you so I am commenting on your last Voctave reaction BECAUSE....they just released a first-time video from their vault that features one of your favorite things, Jamie Ray's wonderful transitions. "Disney Lullabies", ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-PTbGAWFZE4Y.html, of course highlights some hauntingly beautiful and melodic music as well.
Aaand.....another Home Fry is born! Welcome to the family, my dear. This group is, IMO, the best acapella group around. Hope you check out some more of their stuff. There's something for everyone. Enjoy.😊
