on tracks like these with loads of windmills, its better to avoid the windmills to avoid time loss rather than hitting them on every lap.

Yes. I believe you're correct. I've also found it beneficial to avoid hitting or being hit by the others cars. Hope this helps.

Also, I find it saves a fair amount of time if you avoid going off the bridge into the water, but we all have to make our own strategies.

Broughy here's a tip for avoiding the windmills, disperse your atoms on one side and collect them on the other, it's not that difficult

I actually want to comment on being "taken advantage of". I actually think a map like this is a blessing when you're so tired/unfocused. You can race it without too much concern because you know it's going to be messy and profoundly out of your control. On a map that's well suited for random all, you'd have to feel like you've got to focus and would be far more self critical of your mistakes. I absolutely love your serious racing and iRacing (and need to watch the IRL racing) but I also want you to relax and be nice to yourself when you're not at 100%

You see, when you approach the mills, you should be travelling at a certain speed, roughly 130mph so when you do get hit, you get sent into orbit!!! That's my backseatting done for the week

Mostly serious comment: I do ever so slightly disagree that car selection matters less in this type of race. Faster you go, the less time you are in a windmills path or in a crossover. I think it's mostly equal, as your still based around luck, just like a regular random all, and the winners still tend to be the better drivers (Which isn't saying Brough isn't one of the better ones, just that Mild winning isn't a surprise.
