This is prime example of considerably one of the worst NBA players in the league and here vs D1 players he was making it look easy against them this is why I don’t listen to internet trolls because they would get absolutely embarrassed out on these courts 🗣️
uhm. he plays well against non nba players. he is good as a player i mean he’s IN the nba. but he still needs to up his game in the professional teams.
Curl tighter around the picks, then go towards the middle with a slight hesi, big will either come up and u dime it, you'll have a floater, or defender behind will foul
@@kigamegod4100 pro lol, are you watching this vid. TJass could not defend nor stand in front on anyone. And they dont even play serious in this pickup game. TJass got some skills, but unfortunately, basketball favors the tall and athletic ones.
I’m genuinely happy to just see Thanasis working on his game , he has so much potential to be better and even tho he is one of the worst players in the game , he isn’t the worst and can easily be disgusting
bro thanasis is still IN the NBA, and no mater what ppl say, he will be better than them. Ppl are always jealous for no good reason. Same case with ben simmons, russel westbrook, etc. They made it in and are crazy good, just not compared to the other nba plaers on the court, so unless ppl are IN the nba, they need to shut tf up fr
Their glass play is ridicolous, you don't event get the slight idea of how good this guys are until you see this type of videos. Thanasis is a beast too.
That outro says it all. I am the only person in my group that played college ball and nobody understands when I say that even the BEST pick up games don't compare to the full course meal that you get in runs like this.
You kept up with em. The agility, scoring and passing is on par. I’m not sure if you’ll ever be able to defend that size and speed. But hey, Steve Nash won 2 MVPs, so who’s to say you can’t play up with em. Dial in that shot maybe 2% more and you’d be a good-to scorer in runs like that.
@@ongoddddIt wasn't a comparison. It's more of a role model. If I tell an inner city school that one of their alumni went to Harvard, I'm not comparing them to the Harvard guy, I'm saying that there is a path there even given your situation since someone with a similar background also did it.
Tristan you never backed down and you held your own against those guys even though they toured over you. Great job! Way to hoop. If you were 8 inches taller you would be d1 too
I'm not going to lie bro I love to see you at least try to play on the next chapter just one season. Btw nice video and stay positive and motivated and keep moving forward
That was about the same for me 35-40 years ago playing with D1 players as a scrappy 5' 8 inch mostly street ball player! I'd get an occasional bucket, make a niece play here and there, but the length of the guys is just a whole nother ball game! There are just different levels.
@@heyman620 not really 10 times. His ball handling is honestly on par with many nba players, he just needs speed and acceleration, and maybe a better jumpshot. It's not as far of a shot as you may think
@@grendlerdik9426 I mean, he looks 5'7, I think you need to be really outstanding to be on the NBA with this height. If he was 6'4+ he would probably be in the NBA in my uneducated opinion.
Even though i think in a real high level pro game, TJ might not even stand a chance.. goes to show how big of a gap the lowest nba player is to the best amateur hooper
D3 to D2 isn't a huge jump in competition or skill level. D2 to D1 is ENORMOUS. D1 to Pro is even bigger. Less than 1% of the 5000+ D1 players make the NBA.
@@heyman620in a fame with refs he could have probably taken a charge a couple times but in a pickup game without refs, it woukd be hard to put your body on the line like that without any call.
Seems better for you to be playing with these guys. Less hero basketball and johnny tough guy sightings. Trying to prove themselves against you ect. This looked like HOOPIN
