Hey Chris. I re-did the floor behind my EP3 Front passenger Seat, it was rotted out completely, way worse than that. Pop-Rivits and a steel sheet from Canadian Tire did the trick. I used rubber bed liner spray over top of the steel sheet on the interior and POR-15 on the under-side exterior. I've stood on it and it works virtually perfectly.
I bought a car knowing it had a small rot hope but when pulling it on the trailer it caught and ripped all the spot welds out and bent the floor had to cut it all out and weld in new metal luckily all the supports where good still
It’s always tough finding stuff like that, ends up delaying all the modifications BUT at least it isn’t CRAZY BAD! And its an excuse to do fix all you can 🙌🏾 it’ll all be worth it in the end! You got this bro!
On the bright side, it means more content for the channel, even tho it isn’t the flashy things that probably get the clicks. Just keep in your mind that the car is going to be sick when you build it to your Vision!

First off, I'm gonna miss the BRZ. I also don't know how you were able to daily something so low, and now something even lower with the EK...your back and knees must be young 😂😂 And that's a lot of risky rust. But I'm sure that's fixable. You'll find the right people to help you on this journey!
It's really not that bad, Chris. At least it's repairable. The worst part about restoration work is the amount of work/effort that no will ever notice or see. 😅
