Jin said that epiphany demo is totally different then the original one, indeed true both are amazing, outstanding but I like demo version the most. His beautiful angelic voice, pure emotions in his vocals. To listen Jin's angelic vocals means heaven vibes no one can beat him on that. His outstanding visual, beautiful angelic voice, unique and royal personality, best body proportion, well mannered idol. This man is a complete package. epiphany is very precious to me but this song is also english version and very emotional Jin is good at everything he does 💜

When the first chorus broke, I literally cried. Like oh my gosh. His voice is just so inherently nostalgic and sentimental and full of soft, sweet nothings but also like grand, epic love...it's so emotional, I feel it in my BONES. And the melody is so lovely, I really feel like he needs to repurpose it for an OST or something. It's so gorgeous.

this version should be a song on its own. hey, i adore epiphany (original). that song changed my life. i cried 5 hours straight when i first listened to it. but again, this demo version is a song ON ITS OWN!!!!

The original release was Bang PD version and not Jin's. This demo version is Jin's ORIGINAL and OWN melody which was not selected for the album years ago. He mentioned this in his old vlive where he was quite disappointed. But later on, he did like the released version. This is the reason the 2 versions are really different. Since this is the rough and demo version back then, the lyrics were just placeholder which normally may not make much sense. The priority was the melody. Even the recording was quite raw. Since this was not chosen for the release and placed at the back burner, it remained as is including the lyrics. If it was the version to be released then, the lyrics would have been polished and high quality recording would have been made. Hope this be released as a new single - Epiphany 2.0 (Lullaby) or included in his solo album. For sure, lyrics will be polished and high quality recording. Since this is Jin's original and own melody, it is so special to him and kept it. Took the opportunity to include it in the Proof album. Thank you Jin for keeping your version all these years and sharing it with us.

The lyrics doesn’t necessarily make sense because those words are mere place holders. Apparently, with demos, random words are used to get a feel of the melody/song. It’s awesome how Jin was able to use all english words for this demo. 💜 I love both the demo and final version of Epiphany. So many feeeeels. 🥹

I reeeally want him to release this version with actual Korean lyrics! I think it's very clear that he was more involved in this version because his voice is utilized so much better. This demo version is absolutely wow just like the final epiphany. I love epiphany and i might like a teeny bit more than this demo, but it might bcoz the final version would hav gone through finishing touches. But i absolutely this demo version, deserves to be on the album as a final song

It really seems that he talks with Army rediscovering himself with the idea that he feels that it is his consolation and that it is something that he seemed to no longer talk about, but in a certain way a revelation comes to him (which is what epiphany means) that the love he feels for Army comforts and consumes him at the same time, because it is something so beautiful and addictive to him. I think it was a revelation of what Army really means to him and his self-esteem, to love himself. Well that's my perception... Maybe not or maybe yes. In any case, the song and his voice are beautiful and really moving. Impossible not to be addicted to this version. 💜💜💜🙆🏻‍♀️💜💜💜

This was gorgeous; absolutely loved it. I think I loved it even more than the original. BTW, the lyrics are a bit random, since the melody was being decided on, and the lyrics are mostly for demonstrating purposes.

I love all the bts's voices..but somehow, jin vocals always seem to hit my heart with such depth that i can't even express. It's so good as the released one! ❤️🥰 Usually demo versions, lines arw kinda nonsense it would only shpwcase ghe 'supposed' melody, the lyrics will be fully different. I think Jin made this lyrics and was ready to improve this once it got a go signal. But the actual lyrics on the released version was way different, and it would fit the album more than the demo lyrics. But nevertheless KSJ gave his best on this one, his voxalsare topnotch! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻✨✨✨

Even tho the original and the final version is unbeatable, this version was no less in terms of showcasing Jin's silver vocals. Yes the lyrics won't make sense to an extent but the emotions portrayed thru his voice was enough to send me in a spiral of immense satisfaction.

I just want to point out something bc I’m seen the comment been confused…this is a DEMO a demo is a sample of a digital song…. a demo is a way for a musician to approximate their ideas in a fixed format. so seen people say “I prefer the original” confuses me because the original is the finished product of a Demo that’s the whole purpose of having demos lol. and of course, Epiphany original and final version are unbeatable, but this demo version also highlights Seokjin amazing silver voice…of course the lyrics in the English version might not make sense and of course they won’t since be just ideas put together in a demo but it’s beautiful nether less not saying anyone is saying otherwise lol just wanted to point that out.☺🫶🏼
