Claire Pearson was seven months pregnant when she received a text from her bank informing her of unusual action on her card and to call them immediately. However, this wasn't her bank at all - but clever fraudsters.
The best advice I ever had is that if someone calls you and text you always call the company directly it’s ok to hung up and confirm with them and the bank will always want to confirm your identity via the app or text message. The bank will never ask for your bank details
I will never understand why people say personal details over the phone & why people don't simply call their bank. If people took these steps scammers would never make any money.
