I'm not quite the expert but I would love to become one with my channel but who knows. It would be nice if you checked it out and gave me a critique that will help me in the long run 🏃🏽♂️ :D
Okay but literally the entire conflict and drama of the first movie wouldn't even exist if Mitchie had claimed her mom was a chef but her dad was the rich CEO. Like no one would've found out she lied then cause it'd be like "oh your mom is cooking for us? yeah you already told us that."😭
camp rock: the movie with the misunderstood protagonist who falls in love with the cool guy and sings a song and everyone loves them and the bad guy says "we cool now"
I honestly cant get over how fun watching you experiencing these movies are. especially when you both make fun of the movies. Just a good time all around
I hated Lemonade Mouth and thought it was super annoying. Especially since the reality of teen superstars is still very much a bad thing and the idea that a school would be the main provider of their platform is really funny.
Okay Seamus, I really need you to watch Teen Beach Movie (and the second one while you’re at it). It’s one of my favorite Disney channel movies and I would love to see you rip it to shreds
@@1090Ideas I think that one is Minute Men. Teen Beach Movie is like West Side Story/Romeo and Juliet gets interrupted by conscious characters that know they're in a movie. And it's a musical of course.
Yess. He should totally watch Teen Beach Movie. The songs are a bop, even though he can barely show them for copyright. The second one is not that great, but I would love to see Seamus roast it. And also I hope he does the Cheetah Girls franchise.
One thing I'll give these films is that the main character doesn't actually win the showcase/compition thing in the end both times around, instead it's one of the sidekick characters in the first film and the rival camp in the sequel. Add in the more varied music and these 2 films are the opposite of the HSM films. I had fun watching this video.
Not gonna lie, after your comment about the 8th note I, an American with a music degree, had to Google what y’all call it in the UK… kind of broke me for a millisecond, dude.
Something interesting about Camp Rock 2 that might explain the weird "Wouldn't Change a Thing" scene and how if you listen closely, all songs sung by Tess sound like Demi Lovato is that... Originally, Mitchie would be the one to jump ship to Camp Star.
the line delivery reminds me of when you're like- texting someone and they're about to respond but you already know what they're probably going to say so youre typing in your response while they're typing what they're about to say and send it after they sent their text- so it like makes since in the conversation but was just a little too fast
Wait isn't it cheating if one camp just has really talented kids while the other has famous rock stars? Like, you know the one with famous people is gonna win but that's not a fair competition.
If you’re looking other movies from my childhood to review: HILARY DUFF’S A CINDERELLA STORY!!! That was literally my childhood and Carter and Sam are friendship goals
I literally hated this movie but was in love with Joe Jonas when I was like 8. I remember you couldn't like the same Jonas as your besties (just as you couldn't be the same disney princess as your besties, it was a whole thing), but I called dibs on Joe first and was so ridiculously happy about it LOL
I'm so glad to know me and my sister aren't the only people who decided we were not allowed to like the same characters or celebrities because That's The Rule
I love these new videos about watching films. Here’s a video idea: you could do videos about Percy Jackson, you could do videos a few more videos about the barbie movies (they were fun), you could do videos about Star Wars, you could do more Harry Potter videos, you could do videos about ATLA… I feel like there are so many things that people (or people like me, at least) will love! I hope this gave you some ideas for your 3 months of experimentation
I know. But not he didn’t do very many of either (and he did a video of the ATLA film) and basically what I was saying was that I liked those videos and that it’d be nice if he made a few more on the subjects
I was hoping that you would comment on something that has bothered me for years but you didn’t show from Camp Rock 2: How did all of the kids/counselors not know where to go when almost all of them went to camp there the previous year? Seriously how?
okay bro i'm calling you out 22:56 Seamus, mockingly: "oh yes i'm british i don't pronounce my T's" Seamus, 2 seconds later: "that's the thing that annoys me abou' i'!"
The song audio for Camp Rock 2 is really weird in the DVD as well! I bought it years ago to watch it for the first time and remember being very disappointed and confused at how quiet all the vocals were???
Lol when I was in like 5th grade, my friend asked me what celebrity I had a crush on, and I really loved Camp Rock so I said Joe Jonas. If only I had a little more self-awareness at the time, I might have realized it was Demi Lovato all along lmao. Anyway this is a movie I refuse to rewatch as an adult because I just know it won't hold up, so thank you for doing it for me. I don't think I ever even saw the second movie.
@@sofig1237 1) my parents are British and German. There was no real reason for them to not like American films except they found the accents obnoxious and the stories mostly vapid 2) I mean, I watched Mary Poppins which is technically a Disney movie I believe? None of the cartoons though. I still haven't seen most of the Princess movies, the first one I think I saw was Frozen when I was 14
my parents are pretty similar in that regard, but i used to watch nickelodeon and disney channel at my friends' houses and i'm so glad that this was never on. i used to go to my friends houses specifically to watch iCarly i just know that i'd have been obsessed with camp rock too
I know he’s probably gonna do teen beach movie but I hope he does zombies… not a lot of people have seen it and it’s not very good but I need to be validated
I really liked it when I was younger and I still like Jonas Bros and Demi Lovato, but I know these movies just dont hold up well for adults and next generations. High School Musical is better as a movie for sure
I was in my school's 24 hour production of the Camp Rock musical (which is really mostly Camp Rock 2) this fall and I don't think I realized how much PTSD I had left over from that experience until watching this video, so that's fun
"I watched camp rock and barely made it through" represents a small amount of third installments that managed to improve on prior entries. The humor is the best it's ever been, with Seamus' mental breakdown on no one speaking, and Vegard's motivation for filmmaking standing out as series highlights. The critiques have fully matured to the point where Seamus now knows exactly what will happen. The music changes, and the deeper dives owing to less movies to watch show that Seamus and Vegard have officially perfected the formula. One of my favorite RU-vid videos of all time. 10/10.
My sister said for years that the Camp Rock movies were so good and we had to watch em. Yeah to say I was at least a little underwhelmed isn't surprising xD
I felt personally offended by this one for obvious reasons but I love these videos so I forgive you. Thanks for ruining my childhood and making me laugh while doing so.
If you enjoyed several hours of Disney channel drama and songs, I recommend High School Musical: The Musical: The Series. I legit enjoy it (mostly because of Carlos and Seb being the best couple in the show)
I'm just confused as to why it's called Camp _Rock_ because nothing about it seems to suggest rock? Or punk? Or metal? Or emo? Or any other related genre of music? It's just pop, from what was shown. Like. Why name it Camp Rock if you don't show the rock part? Actually, that wouldn't be a half bad idea for a movie,,, have like, a sorta stuck-up, preppy kid be forced to go to Camp Rock over the summer while their parents have to go off for something, and the camp is all punk rockers, metal heads, and other assorted scene kids. Over the course of the movie, the protagonist starts making friends with these "freaks" and "weirdos", and learns what the scene is really about.
So… this movie came out in 2008. I was like 6-7. Even then I felt the “lies get you nowhere” moral was really hitting me over my head a little too hard and that’s the reason it was massive cringe to me😂
"I forgot that they call them eighth notes in America." Yeah... what do they call them everywhere else? I never knew they had different names elsewhere. Do all the notes have different names elsewhere? I NEED TO KNOW WHAT ELSE THEY'RE CALLED
I think I saw this movie once a really long time ago, but the only things I remember about it are the songs This Is Me and We Rock. I have no recollection of the story or the characters.
Also, the mom is the only character I like. She is the best Disney mom; with actually good lines that are reasonable. What the Hell is she doing in a teen drama flick? Edit: “He’s just looking for that girl with the voice.” Cough Little Mermaid Cough
What a minute! Why is it weird to call it an 8th note when it’s played for an 8th of a duration of a whole nite!?! IT KAKWS PERFECT SENSE. WE ARE NOT THE WEIRD ONES THIS TIME
I remember when I went to Disney world in 2010, in one of the stores that had a huge screen(?) and they played “It’s On” (the music video, not the movie scene) multiple times while we were looking for things to buy
Of course they look young, Disney Channel hires actual teens, unless it's Drew Seeley who'll probably resume voice-singing male characters like Troy (HSM), Ben (Descendants), Christopher Wilde (Starstruck), three different Indian love interest guys (Cheetah Girls 3) etc.
I have a vague memory of a video entitled "Hunger games vs Camp Rock army." Edit: I found the video. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-P_86QTQILN0.html
