For Palutenas final smash, it's a black hole with a giant laser to reference a common strategy in Kid Icarus's multi-player online mode which was using the black hole spell and then the laser spell after your opponent got stuck in the black hole. So I find the nod to that pretty cool. 18:16

A cool thing about bayonetta's final smash is that if you mash the buttons during the climax, it does more damage. It's a canonical reference to the games

Fun fact: Olimar is the only character thats COMPLETELY vunerable after using his final smash. It puts you in special fall after and you can't do a thing. Not even tech! Also Zelda's final smash is F*CKED on a normal stage. No joke, you can't get away from it and when you're at 100 it just straight up kills you. You don't get knocked back or anything. You just DIE

I could imagine mugman being an echo fighter to him and ms. Chalice having a different moveset to them (i feel like cuphead/mugman would use the base game weapons while chalice uses dlc? 1:08, you Couldn't unlock him. Kazuya wasn't actually a part of Tekken 3's roster. It's the only Tekken game he wasn't in. Also, the final smash is a reference to the end of Tekken 7's story mode. 2:02, this attack is a Level 4 special in Xenoblade 2. The same for Pyra's final smash. Ryu has a second final smash called Shinku Hadoken. And... I think they missed Ken out at the time of me watching this for the first time. IDK. Anyway, Ken also has two final smashes, Shippu Jinraikyaku and Shinryuken. Cloud has Omnislash Ver.5 too, which is from Advent Children when the normal Omnislash doesn't work.

If they do release another one, I'll be impressed. And if they somehow manage to up the roster in number even further, it will be just absurdly ridiculous.

Cuphead and Sans aren't actually playable characters. They're just skins. You can play as your Mii in Smash by making it it's own fighter, with three types; Gunner, Brawler and Swordfighter. Cuphead and Sans are DLC outfits for Gunner. Also I got no idea why Brawler's final smash is more high quality than a lot of the other final smashes.

Yep, Incineroars final smash is just its exclusive Z-Move but a bit more flashy. Kinda wild to think that the last Pokémon that was added to Smash is from a 7 year old game now. I do like Fire Emblem but never realize just how many of them have the “critical hit” as a final smash.

I still say Young Link should've gotten the Fierce Diety mask for his final smash. Maybe let Skull Kid or Darmani and Mikau get some hits in too.

Pichu was broken because it was almost impossible to hit him. So it didn't matter if he took damage since your opponent was never going to be able send him flying. They eventually nerfed him by giving him bigger hit boxes.

Palutena's Final Smash is a reference to an OP attack combo from the 3DS Kid Icarus game's PVP mode. I'm also sad you didn't get to see Omnislash Ver. 5, which was a secondary Final Smash added to Cloud when Sephiroth was added to the game. And lastly, speaking of Sephiroth, Sephiroth's Final Smash is a graphically updated, sped up version of his most powerful attack (Supernova) from his origin game, the cutscene for the attack was originally over a minute long, and was able to one shot your entire team if you weren't careful.

The Final Smash is his Rage Art in T7. If Sakurai had messed with Kazuya, Harada probably would have gone down to the Smash team at Bamco to express his displeasure, and never invite Sakurai to his bar (the Harada's Bar vids with Sakurai are great). Too bad Kazuya in Smash predates T8, so we miss Lenne Hardt's intro a la the T8 trailers. Bonus fun fact: he loves sneakers.
