Bro literally chose one of the best fillers ever😂 seeing Kakashi’s face was like a canon event so I won’t even count this one😭

I dont care what anyone says. Filler is one of the best parts about Naruto. It's not like other series where they just spam still shots for minutes at a time or over-recap. Other than this episode, they actually put effort into the filler and make actual arcs and stuff. Or single episodes like this where it's funny but everyone is still in more or less in character (ignoring the context of canon timeline - Sasuke was just recovering from Tsukukyomi. No way hes doing this unless he got brain damage - which technically he did buuuut)

If you wanted to know, the crow is saying "aho" throughout the episode which means "idiot" or "fool"

this story of team 7 attempting to see kakashis face does continue, and they never do see it 😂

Remember Sasuke got traumatized by Itachi so He won't be happy in cannon You know it's filler when Sasuke has his Guard down

9:15 beat the shit out of them! When I was a teenager I just wanted to see more Naruto, I enjoyed Filler for the most part. Why wouldn't i? More of the show I love. I wasn't worried about arcs, storylines and progression and got mad when I didn't get what I felt entitled to. Because I wasn't entitled to anything, lol. Just happy it was running.

People hate filler but honestly most of it is entertaining in it's own right. That's for all anime

In general not a fan of fillers but gotta admit that if you like side character development, then they are certainly worth the watch speaking from my Hinata shipper heart I enjoyed the Bug Arc (ep 148-151) the most because it was badass/adorable

There's more episodes in this series of filler, where they try to unmask Kakashi, so definitely watch more if you want more wackiness lol Also, I'll say there's definitely a lot of filler thats worth skipping, but some of which I'd actually argue is pretty decent. When you get to them, there's: The Land of Rice Fields (136-141): This one isn't too bad, does drag in some areas but for some its not so bad. Gives Sakura some decent development. Search for the Bikochu (148-151): Gives Hinata some development, and Shino a bit too There's some Kikashi Filler somewhere that is honestly pretty nice, so if you come across any that mentions that, I'd say go for it There's a Second Chunin Exams arc (394-413) thats pretty cool. Worth watching imo, but it is a little long.. Rest I can't really say without spoilers, and definitely don't search these and look at descriptions as a lot of them mention Canon episodes. When you get to them, you'll know

That weird ninja voice is orochimarus voice. Steve Blum he plays Toonami Robot, Spike from cowboy bebop and so many others like Dempsey in COD zombies.

As a kid I didn't see it as filler. The concept of filler wasn't real to me since I never read manga yet. But with that in mind, I knew it wasn't serious but this style of episode was tasteful, infrequent and funny enough back then that you gave it a pass. Once Shippuden and Boruto came along they did way too much filler and that started giving the series a bad name. If they kept doing infrequent and fun episodes like this it wouldn't have been bad. But yeah, it is what it is and its a nice little break during OG Naruto

While filler can be hard to sit through, I feel the naruto filler is semi important? Not because of any deep plotlines, but because we usually get to see other characters that generally don't get much screen time. Like the other kids and their teachers. I say it's still worth watching just for that. I feel it adds to the show because when we think of all these characters as narutos good friends, it feels more real? Because we actually saw time spent with them.

There is a filler episode later in shippuden where we do actually get to see kakashis face.

"Three-Tails' Appearance" also known as the Guren arc is a really decent filler arc. the offs are mostly pretty bad, but still have some interesting elements. The filler arc, there's a few that really aren't bad. some even became canon like "The land of silence arc" is a shikamaru lead arc that ended up going into a graphic novel. some are just good, but most are bad. they're worth watching for the few solid gems.

I would argue this is the only worthwhile filler episode in all of Naruto because its actually intriguing. After this, just use guides to avoid filler and stick to the canon storyline.

It's really neat to see Sasuke acting like a kid for like the second time In the show

People bitch about the fillers but I think they add alot to the story...yes there's some episodes that are basically just flashbacks...but some are real funny and give some story

This episode is only sort of filler. I mean, it's filler in that it doesn't add to the story and also about half of it has no manga backing it, but the core of the story is from a special extra manga chapter written by Kishimoto Masashi (the actual author.) So it's not FILLER filler, like most of it, which was slapped together by interns to use up air time. At least not all of it. But yeah, everything with those three Ninja guys was added for the anime to make it a full episode length.

Episode 469 (i think) of shippuden is the second part to this filler episode btw. Highly recommend you watch it when you get to it.

Although another filler, I 100% recommend episode 161. Its by far my favorite filler episode of any show and i think it’s hilarious 😂. Great vid as always 👍

This filler works specifically because additional scenes where team 7 is goofing around having fun together enhances the canon. the connection between naruto and sasuke is the heart of the story, nurturing it gives it more weight after that connection is severed

Ironically, this is one of the rare episodes where the ninjas in this show actually behave like real life shinobi.

Eventually you do get to see his face but its not until deep in shippuden Theres also a couple other fillers imo that are worth watching: 1. Curry of life 2. After you finish Naruto, the "Bikouchu beetle" (if you like Hinata) Honestly after that you can skip to Shippuden if u want. Shippuden has a couple worth watching or skimming cuz some are arcs that are are super long. 1. Sora arc (skim) 2. Guren arc (skim), 3. 12 Guardian Ninja (skim), 4. Mushroom boat (watch), 5. Clone Mutiny (watch) 6. imo its probably more enjoyable after finishing the show cuz its a "what if", but I cant even say the name right now. If you save this comment for later its basically like Tsunade dreaming and its a massive what if arc (like what if Sasukes family wasnt massacred, what if Naruto's parents were alive and present, etc...)

This is LITERALLY the only filler worth watching in my opinion - please skip the rest. It's not worth it. There are only one filler arc that you MAY want to watch because it's heavily referenced for like 3 episodes towards the end of the whole series. But if you do want to watch SOME filler the only ones that literally "fill-out" the story are the arcs about what's happening with the other tailed beasts, mainly the Guren/Yuukimaru (involves 3 tails) and Utakata (6 tails) arcs. this filler was also kind of special, because it was among the groups of fillers that occurred right before the "Sasuke retrieval arc" and presented us with light moments between team seven, which (although technically non-canon) made Sasuke's leaving more heartfelt, because suddenly there were more memories between the characters. Iconic episode!

Some of the filler for part 1 Naruto is actually pretty good. Unfortunately most of it is fairly meh. A lot of it follows the exact same beats, exact same story, and typically end with the rasengan, then cuts away from the final battle to end the episode, like a full on cut, you almost never see the aftermath of the final battles. The 3 most memorable filler episodes I can remember are, This episode. The episode where an old man from the previous Ninja World War comes back to blow up bombs he set in the Leaf Village decades earlier, it really shows off the intelligence of Shikamaru. And the Gara Retrieval Arc.

We gotta remember how much of loving innocent kid sasuke was before what happened to him, I feel like at this age no matter how cool he acts, he's still got a bit if that kid in him especially around Naruto. Calling Naruto "loser" and "scaredy-cat" is also outta character lol he wouldn't do that with anyone else.

Kakashi is the og troll. I love how he ends that episode. Still one of my favorite scenes of just random Naruto. This is why I can't skip filler unless I'm just not interested that day. A very mundane, yet funny episode.

Some fillers are more funny but some have serious stories. Some are just Naruto fooling around and some dive into lifes of other characters. And for example during the 107. episode Sasuke is remembering something that happened during the previous fillers so I thing it is worth watching them. Especially if you are watching it for the first time. Great reaction as always.

I never considered this filler, because it was a three page short in the 1st naruto databook, authored by masashi kishimoto, 2 years before this episode first aired in japan

I can be down for filler in some anime as long as it's placed AND paced well. It can be a nice break with some silly stuff or slice of life, or if they do a serious one then it can be cool to see some of the battles and what they come up with. Naruto has a few that fit this bill "good enough" for me, like the mini arc that's around these episodes, and a couple in Shippuden.

This is by far, the best filler episode you could have chosen. But seriously, don't bother with the filler arcs, they suck.
