This is another story, it doesn't have much to do with the specific plot of the Original Trilogy, but it shows how various Rebellions came to be. It's also the last step in Cassian's journey towards the Rebellion, and that's one of the guys thanks to whom the Rebels get the Death Star plans. I'm not digging deep at all, that's just basic stuff. I'm wholly convinced you just want to hate this show. You were getting so granular with your complaints we exchanged something like 20 comments on that one alley scene. If that's the case just hate it. Nobody's gonna stop you. Certainly not me. You don't need a reason to hate it. We've been at this for 2 fucking days, this isn't going anywhere and we both know it. If you wanna continue, sure, for as many days as you want. But I think it's better for the both of us if we agree to disagree and call it there. No bad blood.

The prequels has way stupider stuff and I love those movies. I hate people who say this but you really give credence to the saying that Star Wars are never happy and will always find something to complain about.

No it would have been stupid. First, the F-bomb would never sound right in the SW universe. Second, “F the Empire” sounds like something someone might rant over a few drinks. “FIGHT the Empire “ sounds like a real call to action. They didn’t just change it because of Disney, they changed it because it didn’t serve the narrative.

This is a blatant lie. Stormtroopers ARE accurate. We see this in the opening scene of ANH. We see this in Obi-Wans reaction to the defeated Jawa’s. Then the next time we see Stormtroopers fire its at our heroes… and the Stormtroopers have been given orders to let them escape so they deliberately miss. The next time on Cloud city we have Luke, who Vader wants to capture so there are obvious orders to not shoot to kill in effect, we even see this when Luke sees the prisoners being taken away and a Stormtrooper shoots the pillar just next to Luke’s head. Additionally the prisoners when they escape likely also have orders not to be killed as they are valuable tools to manipulate Luke to the dark side with AND their ship’s hyperdrive was disabled in the event they did escape. They had a backup plan specifically for that. What they didn’t count on was Lando’s security guard who can’t speak but is directly connected to the computer network with those head implants, and “some computer system” just so happens to tell R2 when he accesses the door controls that the hyperdrive is sabotaged. The only time the Stormtroopers are shooting to kill on the heroes is in the last movie. So in every case except maybe the last movie we’ve seen that Stormtroopers are actually wildly accurate.

I see nothing to get excited here. This just looks like cosplayers making a cheap Star Wars fan film cheap, and I have seen Star Wars Fan Films do better than this.

@@metal_fusion well we sure as hell were expecting a Star Wars fight and we sure as hell never got one in this series. So, maybe expecting a Game of Thrones or first season The Witcher bloody fights would’ve been preferable. Did Tony Kilroy say that this series was supposed to be as grounded as those two shows so maybe there were expectations of extremely gritty fights instead we get a circus act with clowns.

@@bobojo6447 “Well written”? The dialogue is terrible and the plot is all over the place. “Suspenseful” ? I totally disagree with that, there was nothing “Suspenseful” anywhere near this series. “Great Sets” ? completely lacks any form of color or makes you believe that you are on an alien world, more like copy and paste Tatooine Mos Espa/Eisley sets. No originality. “Emotion” ? pretty bland expressions on their faces I see no emotion on any actors faces. They all give the impression of just some guy reading his lines and putting no effort in emotion whatsoever.
