Moro's energy having a sort if energy or ki that feels like "a mass of slaughtered souls," I believe that Cell had that same sort of thing, like when Imperfect Cell came onto the battlefield in between Android 17 and Piccolo's fight and powered up you saw some kind of souls around him and the people that it showed him absorbe before he finally powered up, so Cell should have had a similar thing to that, but given that Cell is an accumulation of several characters and his energy feels like everyone's energy combined, like when he used the Kamehameha against Piccolo and everyone sensed Goku's energy, that the "slaughtered souls," kind of effect was just overshadowed by the energies of the people that he was made of. Tell me what you all think.
Even though the summary is fairly good; it skips over fight panels and some cool story elements, leaving the story feeling bland. Despite minor inconsistencies, the Moro and Granolah arcs were a lot of fun to read.
The mention of too low ki leading to Goku not being able to use Instant Transmission being a first in the series, that is actually not true. In the Majin Buu Saga, I believe Episode 286, or somewhere near the end, Goku was gathering Genki for the Spirit Bomb, but Goku was somewhat drained and Dende asked Kabito Kai to transport him to Goku so that he can heal him, but Kabito Kai said that he didn't have enough energy left to transport Dende to the Great Kai Planet because he gave his energy to the Spirit Bomb. Now, you can argue that Genki or life energy and actual ki are different, but the point is that Kabito Kai did not have enough energy to use his instant transmission, so that was used before. Also, before that, Kabito Kai was saying that he is not limited by range like Goku and that he can go anywhere that he wants. So this guy has better instant transmission than Goku, and even he couldn't use I because he didn't have enough energy to use it. So no, that is not a first for the series.
Vegeta's behavior on New Namek, I believe that it was uncharacteristic of Vegeta. Not Vegeta saving the Namekian kids and other Namekians and feeling guilty about his past transgressions, that is all Vegeta, and it was good, but what I feel like was uncharacteristic of Vegeta was him being so vocal about it. Usually, if someone like Goku or Bulma or Cabba calls Vegeta out for actually caring, he will either deny it or shrug it off. That is why I believe that it was a little uncharacteristic of Vegeta.
11:36 i feel like People always forgot but only Bulma were the one who create or had dragon ball radar Moro doesn't have it so findings dragon ball in the whole planet without the radar were hard asf
48:05 One of my favorite Manga shots from entire Moro Arc, This is different shot I think one in manga was from bit further away so was less detail on Goku but form n way he looked in center of Aura just looked So damn good…
His constant surprise is hilarious to me like the dragon ball story as a whole isn’t just a mess 💀bro aren’t you a fan you should have went in expecting this
31:00 what I believe is that the others aren't releasing their ki outward but inside of them to fight better, so Krillin releasing his ki is different and Goku can sense it, remember Z fighters have great ki control, unless they are powering up Goku won't be able to sense it from that far
You know RedHairedGuy, the guy who made the Saitama vs Garou animation? He also animated a fight between MUI Goku and Angel Moro with an alternative ending, it was HEAT!
Something to note is that Carthu's videos are not summaries of the story, they are his personal reviews of the story. While you can get alot out of an experts outlook on the events of the story, his videos are all opinionated and in his point of view. Once again, fine to watch but I really dont recommend judging the manga off a video like this alone.
Yeah, if you don't wanna read it you can watch more of these videos, the tournament if power and the super hero movie versions are actually pretty different in the manga than they are in the anime, so worth a look I'd say.
@@doctor99267the tournament in the anime was more flashy but it definitely wasn’t worse in the manga you’re trippen. Narrative it was far better in the manga.
@@sikox209 the manga speedruned the tournament, had frieza and frost eliminating people left right and center. Manga was only good when it came to roshi having his moment.
It’s not nearly half as good as actually reading the manga also Goku used “susano” in OG dragonball, they also skipped over whis manga panel of stopping Moro attack with 1 finger
Tbh you might as well go through all of it, damn near all of the manga narratively besides a few things in the anime are just straight up better in the manga also Buu existed a long time and was capable of standing his ground against ssj3 Goku
Moro is great and obviously theres stuff you do not understand and are hating on too much for some reason? Probably because no matter what these videos gloss over a lot and its just more worth to read it yourself. Its a fantastic arc
JustinDen's video is 10x better. Carthu is mad annoying with his nitpicks and opinions nobody asked for. Plus he skips too many important story moments. Plus his voice is annoying
