he’s singing live in this video. i didn’t like the song at first but honestly when you listen to it more and more it becomes catchy (that happened to me with like crazy and it’s literally my favorite jimin song) i feel like the melody is what catches the most, you just have to pay more attention to that and then you’ll like the song completely. he highlighted the word mUSe (us) and MusE (me) in both versions of his album. it’s likely that in this album there are songs that are for fans and others about himself. closer than this, smeraldo garden marching band and probably another are for fans and the others will be more about him and his style for sure.
lol, thank you for answering the bias question at the end 😂 I did not expect the vibe of the song to be so upbeat. It seems such a contrast to FACE which is dark and gloomy. Somewhere I read that he was actually working on both albums at the same time. His duality is out of this world. I was also not crazy about loco (pun intended 😂) rap but Jimin is probably intentionally staying away from BTS members with his solo project to show it’s truly solo? I think there's no problem with your reading! The only thing I'm curious about is that there are different interpretations about the song. I think in one article they said he was serenading to Army. They were saying that he confessed to this love instead of the character from the story the truth untold and similar people who couldn't confess the truth elsewhere. So I'm not sure if this is a fan song, just a happy version for the unrealized confession of another story or a story from Jimin's own personal life. And of course what exactly did we learn from him? What was the untold truth? Right after that comes the chorus, the only thing he says is that he loves someone, he wants to hold her hand lol I don't know. Sometimes all these details are too much to me but I think the more you listen to the song the more you will like it. It's obvious that each song has different styles. I think Jimin is trying to find it by experimenting.
That’s a good point. I had the same question too. What is the untold truth? Why couldn’t he tell it before? If it’s a fan song which he makes it seem to be, it’s no big secret that he loves us and we love him, so I don’t really get the message here. Perhaps we are reading too much into the lyrics.

If Jimin is going to follow a chronological order like in the Face album - I think it will be because of the intro - does that mean that after this song we can listen to the story he wants to tell? For me, I like the song, it has a warm summer feel to it, and i think it connects beautifully with the other song Closer than this. My only quibble is that the Smeraldo song seems to end suddenly, like i was expecting the song to last longer. Maybe things were a bit rushed then since Jm was preparing to enlist.

I don't really know how I feel about the song and its video, but it is a fun song to watch and such a happy-feel, catchy tune to sing along with. I already have it in my playlist 😋 So... All three titles were animated by Studio Ghibli, I wonder if he got a few ideas or inspiration from seeing some of that studio's works 🥰 You also mentioned being reminded of Bollywood movies a few times and each time you say it, I'm also being reminded of that movie called The 3 Idiots. My dad, siblings and I totally loved that movie, we watched it multiple times. It's so fun how they suddenly have some sort of musical performance somewhere within the movie and it's such an inspirational movie with how certain stuff in real life were depicted/presented to the viewers ☺ About Loco, well... I don't know him but I trust Jimin's decision to include this particular artist for this song. Jimin's smart and highly intuitive, I'm sure he has a plan or a vision. But the guy does seem out of place from both the video and the song itself. He feels awkward about the whole thing. That, at least, is how I feel as I watch it. I could feel Jimin trying to get him into the feel of the whole concept but it seems he just couldn't get himself be comfortable within it 🤐 Now, I'll be honest that when you talked about the kids and I actually paid attention to their scene, I suddenly thought how it'd be so cute to see a future version of Jimin doing dance challenges with his kids 😍 I'm sorry though for leaving real long comments every time. In other performance... I iind of forget if it's dynamite or butter? But he was wearing white clothes and when he dance, he move his head like how indians gestures their unique head shakes. That is why i said it here about Bollywood 😂. One day if one if use had a chance to talk to him, let's ask about it! About Loco,... I did not like his attitude because his face looked like he doesn't like to be there and faking smile. Actually when it happened I got the urge to pulled card about Loco; how he feel towards working in Jimin's project. But I choose to react instead. I think it's better to pulled tarot reading instead than just saying what i perceived. But what i saw with that unsync between them is because he dislike something about Jimin. @@emperorNB I do agree about Suga. His level of intuition and capacity to see the potential or sense/read the character of individuals he interacts with is no joke. I truly admire him and really love his energy, which is why I have so much interest in his produced works. Still, I feel Jimin's intuition is just as good as Suga's. The difference I sense between them is how they perceive themselves. I mean, they both have amazing abilities. They're totally capable individuals. But Jimin tends to have doubts, while Suga would choose to have faith. That's just how I perceive them though, as I feel their energy whenever I watched them or hear their solo works. I don't claim to know them or even say that's how they are in real life. But I feel strongly drawn to both of them... not sure about Jimin but it's a personal reason for Suga.
In how I see it, Jimin is very good at observation to people's behavior, but to tell if someone good or bad, he's kind of sucks. and I think it's because he's too nice, if someone is good, they will only see the good side of someone. Jimin's just too kind... and so, even though I think he'd sense that something is quite off about a person, I could imagine him just brushing it off, thinking like maybe his senses were only overreacting or he would just tell himself something like, "They aren't really that bad, right?" I admire Jimin greatly for being such a kind person. But I recall how my dad would often say, "Too much or too little of everything is harmful. There should be that balance."
