I want to thank everyone at the Law Abiding Biker store for the Patrol 3 boots that I was the lucky recipient of from your free giveaway!! I received them a few days ago, put them on and was wearing them around the house and out doing my errands. I thought I would have to break them in, however they are so comfortable, almost like wearing my slippers! Wow!! They are absolutely the most comfortable boots I have ever worn!!! Honest, if you want a great riding boot, and something you can wear around that do not hurt your feet, these are the boot. After a regular long day traveling on the bike I usually take my boots off before we head out to get a beverage and eat, no need with these! Yes they are that comfortable. Thank you all again, simply a heart felt thank you to all of you! Matt H
I rented a motorcycle last August on Vancouver Island. We flew in and just had carry ons so I didn’t have my riding boots on when I was T-boned by a pickup truck. Broke several bones in my foot and several months later, I’m still not completely healed. Regret, regret, regret. Please listen to this video and wear/trust your gear to protect you.
Yeah, Ryan, you got it right purpose built, clothing, shoes, gloves that makes a huge difference because they’re built and built usually by people who ride motorcycles and all the difference between regular stuff and purpose built stuff so there you go thanks again for your video. Great stuff. Thanks again, Ryan. Good video. !🏍️
Hey Ryan, I saw your first review on these Patrol 3 so I bought a pair, I have a pair of HD boots to compare them to and what a difference between weight and comfort. The ICON company has been around for a long time and it’s great to see they care about road riding and not just off road riding!!!
I have the Icon Patrol 2 boots and they have been outstanding! I won't wear any boot with laces on a motorcycle. Learned my lesson the hard way about that! I think I am due for a new pair and I will by the Icon 3!
I just got a set of them . Yes they need a loop on the back of the heels for when you put them on. But so far I impressed with them. My next test is to ride in the rain with them to see if they grip when stopping.
I have a pair of HD ride boots I bought 7 yrs ago that r waterproof and breathable and comfortable and offer protection similar to the boot u show here
Interesting. On a side note: My Academy Sports "Bates Tactical Knockoffs" were very affordable and have held up for over two years now. Has a zipper on the side so no BOA needed.
Riding gear is an incremental compromise between comfort and safety. Given your experience and your line of work, I'm surprised to see you lean towards the Comfort end of it, instead of the safety end of it. When I ride, I use Adventure style boots that have thick protections high up into the shin area and a stiff ankle. Are they good for walking in? No, they suck for walking in. But it stands to reason that they're going to be a lot safer in a collision. On the other hand, when I was in Colorado I saw people riding in tennies, a t-shirt, short pants, and no helmet. I guess by those standards, the gear you're suggesting is very safe. To each his own, I suppose.

Looking for boots to replace the ones I have now. I need ones that are supportive and will take the orthotic insole from the podiatrist. You said they are comfortable to walk and hike in, the riding boots I have now are terrible for walking around, so there’s always a pair of sneakers in the saddlebag. Looks like your Insta post has comments limited and I can’t get to the store on the web right now. By the way, Ryan, ain’t nobody gonna confuse you for Mr. Rogers!
I agree. I miss the loop on the back, but also agree that nothing beats the BOA. I've become too lazy now to lace any shoe or boots. Sorry but I'm not on Instagram to enter raffle. But thanks for the videos
Great video guts. Thanks. Do these boots come in 3-4 wide? (Yes, I do wear pontoon boats. 😂😂 haha.) Thanks again. Keep up the great work, and please. Stay safe out there. LE has changed. Bill
I bought Goretex Haix police boots. But…Unfortunately, the heel of this shoe is so thick that your knees are very high. Back to the Magallan & Mulloy biker boots again!
Not knocking your shoes. I wear Merrell tactical boots that also are waterproof. I love them. They have a actual heel. I see your shoes have a flat sole. I need a heel for my highway pegs.
I am hoping anyone can help since I have a size 16 foot, no one makes a "Riding Shoe" so to say. It is boots or nothing so I just stick will regular shoes and give up. Especially pricing.
Hello. Question, is your website to the store offline because I can't get to it to shop. either on google or safari it says it can't establish a secure connection to the server.
6 Thousand miles on Shoes.. I call B.S. No Way. My Mother ran 5-15 miles per day for years.. You may have rode your Motorycle 6 thousand miles while sitting on it .. My Bates "Hush Puppy / Wolverine" Riding shoes are very comfortable and no longer made. My Icon Storm Hawk riding boots offer more Protection , but stiff and uncomfortable One shoe is not wide enough and I ordered them a half a size larger than usual. I guess I need an E Width .
I guess I'm old school! I wear 16" Wesco Boots and Leather Pants tucked in and when hot I where cloth breachs. LOL, I don't see know one else dress like me. On the other hand,, no says anylhing about the way I dress to me.
We wear our tall motor boots for special occasions only now. Events. Day to day we are finally wearing more practical and protective items. slow to change their minds, but I am over time.
no heels... not very ergonomically supportive - poor lower leg protection... in case of a heavy collision, such shoes/boots will potentially cause the riders' legs fracture/break at a very critical anatomic position... they are way too short
