In total war warhammer there's a similar strat. In the game army units have a "morale" function where in if they drop below a certain point it causes them to retreat. Sometimes they can recover but if they retreat 3 times they're out for good. One of the monster factions can recruit a goat man that has a passive which lowers morale of enemy units simply by him being on the battlefield. It's called "nurgle's foul stink". If you get all of the relevant upgrades and create a 20 unit army of nothing but the goat men you can actually win a battle by causing the entire enemy army, sometimes comprised of several thousand people, to retreat instantly the moment they catch wind of the stinky goat bois.

Well, that also depends on the card pool and how the game is built. I know at least one deck builder game who's winning strat is ALWAYS draw more cards, but it is one where the resource grind is part of every individual round. The general format: Play your hand of 5 cards with resources on them, use said resources to buy new cards from the buy piles, pass the turn to the opponent to spend the damage resource you accumulated. AI then does their damage to you based solely off of how close to death they are, then repeat your process. First out of health looses the match. In that context, a draw card gives you access to the resources on cards that were not in your initial hand. Most draw 1s come with a secondary resource, making them a valid investment in all cases, and any of the rarer draw cards that draw more than one just make it less likely to see the cards that only have resources on them. A turn is only capped by drawing all of the cards in your deck or drawing enough bricks that dont have draw power. The ONLY draw cards that are not worth the investment (on their own) are cards who's sole effect is draw 1 without a secondary resource (and even then, certain cards can give them value either by extending combos or providing an unstated resource from a "all other cards you play this turn give +x [resource]"). Powerful cards in the buy piles often cost more resources than is possible to get with just 5 cards from the starting deck of the match, and though the cards you can buy often have more resources per card, it is much harder to get rid of the junk cards in the starting deck to see them consistently without the aid of draw cards. The game only has one counter to use to fight against the obscene draw power players can build: a single enemy modifier that deals a low fixed amount of damage to the player if they zealously draw more than 2 cards in a turn that only triggers once per turn, and only on the game's second level of difficulty or higher. (it is also the most intimidating of the game's enemy modifiers because of how quickly it can spiral if you are not paying attention, and the fact that it is the most common way to take damage on your own turn). In pegglin terms, it would be like if the game put a limit on the amount of orbs you could reload at once, but there were orbs in the game that would instantly reload more orbs that were on standby if conditions were met. Each extra orb you get is more damage you can deal before enemies get a chance to react (or get a free turn unopposed). Stack enough of the draw orbs to see them consistently and you can take out bosses in one turn with sheer numbers instead of quality.

​@@10pitate No it wouldn't, he doesn't even come close to having enough damage to kill the wall, and the wall literally eats you, which bypasses all immunity and probably even the revive relic. When the wall eats you, you just die no matter what.

@@pyromaniacal13 It does not. If you watch, the Ballista was chosen when Spiff first entered the dungeon, and all his resets did not change the boss to the Wall. Just like the map does not change.

I was hoppikg sp much for the wall. But that combo is fun. Reloading the relic destroys it and i would not recommend

The answer to that with this build would just be to not remove the orboboros and just manually discard each turn then use orboborbos kill the boss

If you get the wall as the boss you just level up one orb really high and its an easy win. Sell the orb when you hit world 3. Usually the easy run of combat means you can focus on getting lots of relics without issues

Yeah I was thinking the same thing but I think the play is to keep some singular strong orb or even two if you get ambidextionary and just do damage normally as well as doing this

Simply keeping the Orboros would've served that purpose well, specifically once healing is obtained. The Orboros could then be skipped without worries about dying from self-damage, while having a backup in case the wall boss shows up (or boredom creeps in).

The world of cheese is a complicated subject, especially in videogames. just ask Bubsy the Bobcat (from Claws Encounters of the Furred Kind) or the Dragonborn. They'll have different stories to tell.

also the Idea that a goblin with a shield and some cheese is murdering an entire kingdom so there is that. XD

Which is just insane since every "good" build is just a different flavor of "insta-kills everything on screen." I don't know why they bother trying to make some builds less effective at this when that's all the game ends up being for everyone anyway.

It did break the game, by making it significantly less time consuming to get perfect runs with quit/continue

@MrMetra101 save quits broke the game. The shop update without abusing a feature is balanced. I use save quits to attempt a fight multiple times but I never use it for perfect runs. And custom runs are a thing for a reason.

@@MrMetra101 lol it's not "breaking the game" if it's a very obvious exploit that you have to go out of your way to perform. Just play the game as intended and don't cheat and it's great.

If you have to fight the Wall, obtain a decent Damage-Dealing Orb and Upgrade it before reaching the Boss Battle - as long as you only have One Orb, you can still Reload every other Turn, healing off damage, and you can then Remove the Orb again once you've entered Stage 3...

Tried it myself - a run with bad cheese and round guard ends at the demon wall - nothing can protect you from its attack if it reaches you. It's the one weakness of this build
