Time travelling - who'd have thought the first time it would ever get used would be to go back in time on a football-based video game? We've gone back over 10 years in a FIFA 21 Career Mode save to see what would happen. It broke everything. Shock.

I looked up each player that actually transferred (not loaned) and they had all been at their teams since '08 so the game was still only allowing players who had joined before the "current day" to leave. I feel like the game would pretty quickly run out of players to transfer. There can't be a huge amount of current players on the game that have been at their current club that long.

Did that but where the players played the majority of their career instead because otherwise there are 4 or 5 teams that are OP. And even then... Barca, Real, Milan, Inter, United and Bayern were the best by quite a distance. Madrid and Barca regularly have undefeated seasons, United almost always go undefeated (sometimes they have the 38 wins stat) and The ucl is always between real, barca, milan, bayern or inter. Strangely not united
