I went back to the HARDEST CALL OF DUTY and I don't regret it 

World at war will forever remain a masterpiece. With the grittiness of the campaign, the chaos that was the multiplayer, and the childhood horrors that were the first zombies experience we played. There will never be another zombies like WAW. I honestly don't know if it's possible for them to recapture that lightning in a bottle that was world at war. Love this game.

This shit was legitimately traumatizing as a kid. Raising the flag at the end only to wake up with a zombie running straight toward you.

No other COD game has been able to create the kind of atmosphere this game had. Even outside of gameplay the game oozed this personality than no other COD and honestly not a lot of other games have been able to replicate.

I'll never forget the absolute grenade spam on veteran difficulty, and also TAKE OUT THOSE FUCKING PT BOATS!

Do a play through of World at War campaign on Veteran as you have a wait until new games are out. Would 100% tune in to see you double upload this.

Fun fact about the MP40 in WaW: Treyarch was so aware of the MP40 being overpowered, that it was planned to be a killstreak in black ops 1.

As someone who's been playing cod since cod4, I have the most memories with World At War! This game was perfect in my eyes and sooo rewarding.

Please please play the full campaigns of the old cods, but especially world at war, absolutely terrifying!

It's crazy to see the amount of players online. I was playing World at War frequently last year, and it would only peak at about 700-800 players. It would never reach 1,000. Now, it seems to be the normal. It's weird to think of a game would increase it's playerbase over time, especially this amount of time, 15 years later, but I guess that's due to the news of them apparently fixing the servers. I never thought anything was wrong with them; I just thought the game was dead, but them fixing the servers was a good move, not because of the fix itself (whatever it was), but more so the news just did a sweep across all COD games, increasing the playerbase for at least a short while, until people get bored again and move onto the next thing. All that's left now for Jev to play is COD 4. Hope to see it for tomorrow's video.

That intro gave me literal chills. God I love world at war, probably the best CoD overall in my opinion. Hopefully it gets remastered with a mastery Camo grind cause I would play it NON-STOP.

This game was such a huge part of my childhood, before I had internet I’d just replay this campaign over and over again until I had pretty much all the voice lines memorized. Years later when I got internet getting home from school to see jev uploading WaW losing his marbles, some of the greatest memories I have. Snaking, Dogs, weird hacked lobbies with low gravity, the somehow even worse mic quality. What a gem of a game. Thank you Jev.

I put more hours into World at War than any other Call of Duty by a decent margin. Not saying it was the best COD ever but World at War introduced some of the best modes and mechanics that we take for granted today. Zombies mode is probably one of the most important aspects of the yearly COD cycle and it all started here. It came out during my junior year of high school and sometimes I wish I could go back.

this was by far my favorite cod to play. i played others more because my friends played them but this game has so much nostalgia for me. when i saw the connection interrupted icon on courtyard of all maps, that brought back some memories.

this is the first cod i ever played and thinking back, this games campaign is one of the best fps campaigns i have ever played, what a great game

WaW was one of those classic games for me that flood my mind with nostalgia whenever I see it nowadays. I had spent so much time playing it with my little brother and friends and which in turn, developed so many fond memories. If there is any CoD that needs to be remade and accurately redone it is this one. This was the beginning of it all, starting with the masterpiece that is Zombies mode, the chaotic and marvelous lore, and the amazing voice actors that have stayed with us this entire time, along with so much more. It's a true shame of what's become of Call of Duty.

I was playing this game when it dropped and I was like 6 or 7, I played cod 4 when it dropped as well but I preferred waw due to co op campaign and zombies which I loved but pretty sure I was scared playing it alone 😂 I still was scared of playing zombies alone when black ops dropped but then that transitioned more to being bored playing alone since I didn’t have wifi all the time

This is the first cod i played from the start and it have a special place in my heart. I was really good at it and i played with my little brother all christmas holiday for 14 days straight night and day. We were like top 500 in the world in the rankings lol

What made world at war so great was the combination of the originally classic feel and theme of the original 3 call of dutys combined with the new features of cod4. It really was a best of both worlds type game when it released.

WaW is by far my favourite CoD. Introduced to CoD by CoD4. Played it for 30+ days so the excitement I had for the next one (WaW) I remember racing my mates to max prestige. War was also an insane game mode. 💯 So many memories 😍

The campaign in this game remains one of my favorites of any shooter. The dark and mature themes along with the graphic violence. I thought, this is what a WW2 shooter should feel like. The multiplayer was pretty good too and of course Zombies debuted in this game as well.

World at War was the first COD game I played. I still remember going to my cousins house one day and he was at the door all creepy looking and asked me "youre not a Nazi Zombie are you?" Im like wtf? So then he handed me a controller and that split screen experience with zombies for the first time was truly something magical and I didnt even know it at the time. As soon as I got my own copy, that was my first real experience with console online gaming. The campaign is incredible. The MP was addictive.

This game is what made me love shooters if I really think back about it. Playing hardcore on WaW felt so immersive and that’s hilarious considering the realism you can get now in other games. As always love the content Jev these videos been the best kind of nostalgia.

Here's a funny tid bit. Zombies was originally suppose to be a "tower defense" game like balloon tower defense (or BTD for short), which is why nacht is the only unique map that has zombies on an actual path, and is the reason why the scoped Springfield is in the cabinet on the second floor. Also kino is a WaW map but due to time restraints got pushed into bo1 instead.

The transition from Campaign to Zombies at the end has to be one of the greatest things ever

Woke up on Christmas in 2008 to this masterpiece and a Xbox 360! I was only 7 years old at the time, never had a game system or anything before that, my mom just couldn’t afford it… but that Christmas changed everything! This game is the reason I play video games! And for that, it holds a special place in my heart.
