even when things may seem hard and pointless, remember that this is what you are happy doing, what gives you joy, making something with your heart poured in it so people can enjoy it, i find it very noble, try to give yourselves more rest and time to go out and do other stuff , monotony can really damage your mental health, so take care of it so you can give your best self to us and the game!!

You've been my favorite animator since I discovered your channel back in 2017 or so, and I found Layers Deep separately from your channel actually! I'm very excited for it, even moreso knowing you're working on it! I'm a game developper and i live in a tiny house and I have a self sustaining garden for food, solar panels ect.. so i dont need money to make my game, and im taking my time like 5 years minimum before I release anything

I am currently kinda doing the same thing, developing my game as much as I can and so on... Seeing you just motivated me so much! I will be twice as fast from now on!

Be sure to use socials to your advantage. Daily posts to twitter, and at the end of the week, pick the best responded tweet and refine it for an instagram post or tiktok. Even TikTok as it gets sued by the us gov.

I like the klezmer music but I would recommend cutting the vocals since its distracting from whats happening on screen, though the vocalization at the very end is good.

Anyone reading that has a dream, any dream its not the best thing to throw it all away because jobs aren't always so easy to get in Even Macdonald have standards This was done by a professional...pr- probably others wouldn't even be alive right now (I know he isnt entirely broke, like it isn't at 0$ but still) And don't waste your money on not needed things all the time, think before you buy And always remember...*stay alive* 👍 These are harder doing than reading, I dont even know how much, I dont even have a job

Feedback: Just wanted to mention the music first. Did you get permission to use it? If yes, then that's great. Be careful with that stuff, it can cause big problems down the line. In the trailer, you have text screens explaining what you're about to show. Example: "Fight intimidating bosses." I don't think these are necessary. It just kind of kills the momentum of the trailer, and I'd rather just see the game. I think the range of colors in the trailer is a bit limited. Everything is very warm and feels very similar. Having some more variety would be helpful in making the trailer more interesting and give the impression that the game is more expansive. Mostly warm is fine, but showing some areas with cooler and different colors would be nice. The backgrounds are very blurry. I'm watching this on youtube, so I'm not getting an accurate representation of the game; however, I do think you could up the sharpness a bit on some of the background elements, especially the closer ones. It's good to have contrast, but it's a bit too much right now. I know this is a pretty big visual part of the game right now, but I can't help but feel that the sickle placement is a bit awkward. I feel like having it on the character's back when they're not attacking would look more natural. That's it. All just my opinion. Good luck!

no hate but idk about the music for this trailer. I get that they're the band who did music for a cartoon that inspired the style of this game, but to me it feels a bit disconnected from the visuals and i can't really grasp what the atmosphere is supposed to be. It's cool that you're taking a unique approach though and it's not trying to sound like hollow knight because everyone gets that association by looking at the visuals. But still, whatever audio you end up adding can truly make or break the experience.
