@@irvingwashingtonable I remember reading an interview way back when Thrones was airing where he said someone predicted the ending on the Internet. The question was if anybody ever guessed it right. He said somebody got it way back in the 00s on some random message board he found when he googled it out of curiosity... He's a planner. He's had the story planned out for decades & knows how it goes he just won't sit down and actually write it. 🙄

@@KatieBeeTV having an idea of what would happen is different than executing on that idea. HBO had a not terrible idea of how the ending should go they just didn't do any of the groundwork to make it make sense. For GRRM, I'd argue not writing the ending down at all counts as sucking at execution.

To me the best part of camping is it quiets the voice that says “I should be doing x y or z” bc you literally can’t. But also setting up a tent together is a true test of a relationship lol and for me edibles are a key to a good nights sleep camping

I just hosted a queer camping retreat in california and one of our stops was king's canyon/sequoia! Seeing those big ass trees that are thousands of years old blew my fuckin mind fr. Congrats on having a successful first camping trip together! It's great that Elliott also got to unpack some stuff that was weighing heavily on his mind. I hope you continue to vlog your adventures for the duration of the camping hyperfixation!

A few might even consider it a brook, or a branch. Possibly a creek, or crick. Could be a stream, but compared to a river - it's just a trickle, a confluent, a channel

as someone whose family used to camp a lot as a kid; you can never over-prepare too much for camping. There's nothing like having something break or the weather go bad, and you actually HAVE the things that makes it better with you. Camping can be seriously miserable if you're missing something critical and have to live without it.

As someone who goes camping and backpacking quite a bit, your first few times you will always overpack before you figure out what you truly use. You will also realize there are things you wish you had no matter how prepared you think you are 😅

Just had to pause the video at the sight of everything packed up in the car: we went camping with our two young kids (and some other family) this summer, and like your trip it was just two nights. We had to have my dad bring some of our stuff in his car because our station wagon was filled up completely 😅 we're also fairly new to camping, so that might be why 😂

Ooohhhh I can so relate to the "I don't like not knowing what I'm doing, especially publicly," which is so wild to me, because you have spent so much time on the internet intentionally not knowing what you're doing, and I've done the same (in my RU-vid and TV days). So how can we hate it so much??! How am I doing? Hmmm.... Well I have COVID. Fun!!!!! But my chest is hurting less and I think I'm in the tail end of it. I slept almost all day, and now that I'm up I feel a lot better. I sniffed the clothes in the washer and they smelled passable so I put them in the dryer. Now I'm putting together a LEGO!! WOW!!! ✨✨✨ I'm gonna watch you camp as I sort these pieces. Here’s a hack for camping: Put all of the gear that you only use camping in one suitcase so that that way you never have to unpack it. You just leave it packed in your closet and the next time you go camping all you have to do is put your suitcase in the car. (And a few more things!) Another tip if you’re lazy like me, you could also only bring a set of day clothes and a set of night clothes and plan on not showering. It really cuts down on the amount of things to bring! Somehow, despite all these hacks, it still takes me forever to pack the car to go camping, and I usually show up around 10 PM and I’m setting up my tent in the dark! 😆
