That drone just opened up a lot of doors! Spotting fish, spotting bait, areal footage for videos! Definitely a game changer, looking forward to seeing it in action more. I may just have to pick one up myself! 🎣
Hey JC I don't see a tail number. ya need to register it and if you are making money with it like a monetized youtube video you need your P. I.C. license.
@@jackfunk5765 I did a lot of research in preparation for flying a drone. One thing I've notices is in aviation there are tons of abbreviations. So, you said you are licensed pic, what does pic mean?
Hi Chuck, with all respect, I am deleting these comments between you and me. People who desire to fly a drone can get the correct information on the FAA website. @@chuckschillingvideos
Hey JC! long time subscriber, also a drone operator. In order to make money when operating a drone I had to obtain my FAA Part 107 license, the reason I bring that up is I came across youtubers whos said they were contacted by the FAA. I saw a few episodes ago that situation with FWC and I would hate if a good person like you gets the screws.
What is the brand and model......range....max load capacity....water proof hit it hits the water....can it right itself from the ocean and take flight.....lots of questions?
Nice piece of tech you got there, impressive indeed, it sure helps in distance although I have to admit I prefer good old fashion muscle power casting.
awesome drone -just a note (to play it safe- you should only have a release no longer than 30cm from your release clip under the drone-to your main line! the way you took of could have cause a pendulum swing with the amount of distance u have between your sinker and the drone and the line could have swung right over the drone which would make things interesting- love the fishing videos though...
Good job mate all the best from Melbourne Australia. My question is if I had 500 m on my spool and I ran the thing out 400 m and I get a big one and she runs……. Wont you run out of line?
Sick man you should use that drone a lot lol. I love to see you try to find some snook on the beach with it. With 3 miles of control you could sweep the beach looking for them.
RRF, great instructional content. I will be looking into getting a fishing drone. Very good way to get your bait further when land fishing! Thanks for sharing!
I guess it depends on several things, lb test on the reel, distance you want to drop the bait off shore and how big the fish are you're targeting, will theybe so big that they are taking out a lot of line with drag pull...I'm using a Penn 7500 long cast reel with 50 lb braided line.
hi, I also have a Splash 4 drone for fishing use, a strange thing happened to me when I arrived about 150 meters from the beach it suddenly lost the GPS signal, luckily I put it back in ATTI mode, what could have happened ? Incorrect compass calibration or misplaced button?
I had to keep an eye out for boats On two occasions I had to wave them out away from my line. I'm totally surprised at how close to shore boats actually cruise in that location. Do you catch sharks there? Through the years I've seen several sharks landed in that spot.
@@RadReelingFishing I typically don't target sharks, but I've caught a few. Part of the reason boats pass by so close is the sand bar. I've also gone through with a boat and the sand bar changes slightly every year.
I have a phantom 4 drone flys way father faster and can carry bigger baits also has sensors wot h mean won’t hit anything at Al phantom 4 drone way better amd the phantom 4 hood better in high winds
