Something that I love about myself is how happy and optimistic I am around others. My sister got sick when I was in second grade and she was in a coma for a year. Just recently, she has been able to get to school and be independent. During that time, I was always there to show a happy face. Something that we both bond over is makeup and skincare. Hey Kass I just wanted to tell you that you are an amazing big sister and they are so gratefull to have you in their lives❤ Growing up I loved makeup and skincare because it was a huge boost for my confidance and I could let out my creativity while doing diferent makeup looks. A few years ago I got diagnosed with vitaligo and I became so self conscious about my looks that I tried covering up my face with makeup. I would get bullied at school so much to the point where I would cry myself to sleep every night. The vitaligo spread across my body and I would always wear pants and long sleeves to cover my self up. I was depresed and did not feel confident at all in my own skin. It wasn't untill I started to learn to love myself that I stopped covering up my vitaligo. I still loved makeup but I didn't use it to cover up my vitaligo but instead I used it to express my self. Now my vitaligo is what I love most about myself❤ I love all of your videos and I love how you think up of these fun challenges to do with your siblings! I was diagnosed with vitiligo when I was 9 which is an auto immune skin disorder that causes patches of skin on my body to go pale. Just recently going into high school it had been hard to be stared at by others. Something I love about myself is that I’m always there for others when they need it and they can always talk to me if they are feeling down or for anything that they need to talk about, I have never really had many people to talk to if I needed it and I know how it feels so I just want people to be happy and not have to feel the way I did. If I won I would invest in some more skincare and some makeup because I don’t have much and because it makes me feel more confident! Over the years I struggled with self confidence and every morning I would look in the mirror and see a person I didn't like. I would always see these beautiful girls on the Internet with clear skin and perfect hair. I always wonder why I didn't look like them. I started changing everything about myself and I wasn't myself anymore. I was wearing makeup and curling my hair so much to the point I fried it off. I realized what I was doing to myself and started to think "who care what you look like." There is this quote I like that says " Just be yourself because everyone is taken." I saw everyone else and wondered why I didn't have their perfect nose, gorgeous light eyes, and flawless skin. I had always been insecure about the way I appear, and especially my hair. Now, I know that it doesn't really matter about how someone looks, its about what's inside. One thing I like about myself is how I can see beyond the surface of people.
