The Director of the Center for International Education and Collaboration at UPSA, Ivy Heward-Mills, has been recounting her remarkable journey from living in a luxurious mansion to finding refuge in a friend's out-house after her husband was brutally murdered. Madam Heward-Mills is the widow of the former MP for Abuakwa North, J. B. Danquah-Adu, who was killed on February 9, 2016, at his residence in Shiashi, Accra. Despite the adversity, Madam Heward-Mills says she was determined to work hard, make an impact and achieve success in her own career. She was speaken at the International Women's Day Forum organised by the UPSA Women's Association and the 'Yes I Can Foundation'
