Join me in visiting the world's most dangerous border, the DMZ between North and South Korea! This turned out to be one of the weirdest places I've ever been; not because of the North and South Korean soldiers at the border, but because of an amusement park.

Your closing monologue is poetry and so very fitting. I got the same feeling when talking with the North Korean Colonel who accompanied us at the border. Not the people of this country are the enemy, its teh government and the rot that has seeped into every part of the north due to it. I hope for peaceful reunification under a free democratic government

The activity at the DMZ is intentional. They hope that civilians in NK will see how happy and prosperous civilian life is and will want freedom. But NK does the same thing to keep up appearances for the outside world.

I was at the North Korean side of the border almost 6 years ago now. And its night and day. While the Northern side is as you would expect the most dangerous border to be. Calm, collected, military. THIS here is insane. I m ean WTF. Why put a freaking amusement park here and everything. Dafuq
