The Versace mansion is beautiful in it's own gaudy way, but I have always felt sad about it. I remember being in South Beach and staying at a hotel right behind the mansion. This was not that long after his murder but the mansion was being used for parties/club in the evening. I remember being very excited to score an invite and be put on the list. The day of the party, I was just walking in the morning and happened to pass by and looked at the steps infront where Veraace died and it really hit me, that this was someone's home, where their life was taken. The large gates didn't protect him. From that moment on, it just felt like an invasion of someone's privacy to go into the mansion to party and just have a look.

The cut to the crab holding the friendship bracelet is killing me it's so good.

Resident Florida girl here. I have seen countless aligators in my life, like just walking down the sidewalk sometimes. One thing I have never seen and never want to see is a crocodile. Aligators are dangerous, but if you leave them alone, and aren't near their nests, or feeding grounds during feeding time, they will mostly stay in their lane. But crocodiles WILL EAT YOU. You DO NOT wanna see a crocodile!

That tiki hut was actually less fancy than I'd expected. It seemed pretty "roughing it"/basic. The nicest part was the outside. I wish you would link to all the fashions you wore in this video. Such beautiful outfits!! You looked absolutely fantastic! Also, I think most if not all those other people's Pinterest photos are edited to correct the color, etc. and to remove strangers/bystanders from the photos.

yess!!! i’m booking a room at the versace mansion & reservation ahead of time. when i walked by, i asked the person outside if there was a list for places like that, & he just said, “all you need to do is book a table in advance” because they can get pretty busy… everybody is v.i.p at versace… if you have money, that is lol… cause i wanna swim in the pool so badly! me & swimming have a good relationship because almost drowned when i was 3 years old & instead of panicking i remember just relaxing underwater & thinking to myself “it’s okay, someone is gunna save you” as soon as i started closing my eyes, i felt someone lifting me up before passing out. the reason it took the club med lifeguard a little longer to see me, is because we were doing water exercises, music was blasting, and the lifeguard was the actual coach, i was very little & accidentally backed up too far from where my toes could no longer touch the shallow part & slipped into the deep end. crazy story, but ever since then, i promised myself, i’d never let another pool become an enemy & have been a great swimmer to this day! i also figured out that, if worst case scenarios, i can just relax & talk to the watergods, apparently they like me & made sure i was saved!

The pink hotel is my absolute favorite childhood memory! I went there all the time until my mom’s hotel company sold it 😭🙏🏼

Manatees and the blue water can be seen EVERY DAY on our river. It's called the Weeki Wachee Spring. (We also have a world famous live mermaid show at the park) Hope you can rent a house that comes with kayaks and everything you need for a magical time for $200/night. Sometimes even cheaper than that if you stay for a week. They call out part of Florida the Nature Coast. I've have Weeki Wachee, "The Chaz", Crystal River, Homosassa springs/river, 3 Sisters, and tons more... We also have Blue Lagoon Holes. It's literally just a big perfectly blue hole that goes down a mile into the earth right in the middle of the Florida "jungle". The holes are about 50 feet across so not that big but people like to scuba dive down. In the winter, Manatee are everywhere. If you get a house on the river you will see them all day. They bring their babies into the spring fed rivers because it's warm. Hope you can even swim.with them. But you can't chase them or harass them. But if you snorkle.quiet and just float along with them, Manatee could careless who wants to go for a float. We LIVE here! Oh and you would be perfect for the Mermaid camp where you learn to be a real life mermaid!!! Tail and all. Swimming in the REAL mermaid spring! Its My daughter dream.

If you really want to go see manatees, try going to The Weekie Wachee River in Hernando County, Florida! It's a natural spring river where manatees like to chill! You may have better chances there for a Pintrest picture!

Hope if you want to see manatees i recommend crystal river just 40 minutes from devils den. Manatee season is in the winter and early spring, but three sisters spring houses manatees year round!
