Glad this is up as I can see what Brian thought in the tournament, but it's not 4th wall breaking. And now I can congratulate the man on his own channel.

You should do "Gothamchess" style update videos on EVO tournament/etc. Building general hype around the FGC and really becoming a voice for those who aren't really "in the know" while also coming from someone with a professional level of expertise is where I feel like you can thrive. Get those views and become an FGC clickbait god. You'll be the largest contributor to really laying the groundwork for a mainstream FGC community.

@@BbcJr, I don’t think it would work. The problem is coming from within. But the way to fix it is to play more tournaments and less ranked. But that wouldn’t make for good content.

I'm not saying that Brian should do it but personally when I was getting washed just as I began playing SFV I decided to just block out the opponents rank to remove that part of the equation and instead focused on what they were actually doing. Don't judge the Ken player based on their rank; judge them based on if the only thing they know how to do is wake up DP.

Congrats on getting so far and slowing Nephew down. Watch out though, as I don't think Nephew will use Level 2 as much and be prepared for ChrisCCH. You have the best JP right now. That's an accomplishment as JP was starting to look weaker until you played as him this tournament.

Idom made it to top two last year in SFV, but I haven't heard his name except when he carried Brian with Snakeyes in a team tournament and then lost. At the pro level, anyone can make it. This isn't MK or Tekken, where you have Sonic Fox or Knee/Arsalon Ash at the top all the time. This is Street fighter where weird stuff happens every tournament. Heck, Brian actually shouldn't of beat Nephew on paper in this tournament.

@@Nobody-su9km True, in SFV, Nephew was never considered a top player. Daigo sucked for three years in SFV until he learned Guile. Now let's move into the SF6 era. Tokido gets beat by some no name guy in Africa at an offline tournament(The RedBull Kumite) and it wasn't the crowd that got Tokido. MenaRD has only won Capcom Cup consistently, not Evo like Sonic Fox in Skull Girls, Mk and DB FighterZ. Punk has been slapped by Nephew a lot lately. Nephew has been ranking high lately, only to be defeated once by MenaRD, I think. Angrybird one Kumite with Marrisa against Bigbird. They aren't top compared to Punk , MedaRD Tokido, or Idom. Infiltration could beat every pro, but got suspended indefinitely by Capcom. Again, in SF6, Nephew isn't considered a good pro,so far? anyways, the quote of "watch out" can refer to evo in preliminaries. Brian, Nphew might face each other before top 32, "so watch out." I'm expecting Japan to be dominate because they have a close knit community. I mean, you see how Daigo had SF6 tournaments in his home. But one Amrican usually, makes it. I don't want to say no to Brian on his on youtube channel. Ilike Brian_F and want him tobe great at evo. I'm pulling for an American upset by all American players. That's not wrong. But to be honest, I hope Daigo wins after such a bad performance in SFV.
