Hi Monique, Thank you for your in-depth experience of an Hermes sample sale. Not something I would ever try. My sister has been to several sample sales in Paris, and people are out of control, grabbing anything they can get their hands on. I can't shop in this type of environment, too stressful. Congratulations on your purchases, I love the black mule and the pink little scarf :-)

I've twice intended to go to the sale in Manhattan and turned right around when I saw that the line was more than 2 city (avenue) blocks long. At least 6 hrs wait!!! No Ma'am! I would definitely go if my SA invited me to the private sale or the Manhattan line was less than 4 hrs wait. Not willing to go to LI or NJ. You got really beautiful items!

Wow I have heard the Manhattan one is pretty crazy, this one was long but not that long. I have always wanted to experience the Hermes sample sale and I happened to be in town for it :) I would love to go to the Paris sale one day.

wow..you couldn't even book time slots online😨 thank god you got some nice items after that madness most boutiques where i live are franchise, they do sale only 2 days & it's not good.. i didn't even bother going in recent years

It’s actually not that hard to give numbers only in the morning at a certain time so it’s up to people what time they want to line up. And 20x30 minutes assuming that they are open 8 hours then give out 320 numbers and once it’s finished then it’s done. People can go home and no need to continue lining up for nothing. 140 is the best scarf IMO and I paid full price for it. No regrets I love it

I know! They are such a mess and is known for being a mess. There was a lot of shady things going on hehehe 140 is sooooo good! I don’t want to spend full price tho lol but maybe one day haha

@@ShweMyaukMyauk Yes, they were giving out tickets to people they know and there is a also a group of people who bribe people in order to get ahead. such a mess lol I was just there for the experience and entertainment, I have been in a country where I can't shop for a long time hehe
