Who feeds their 2 year old Chinese food? Well about a billion Chinese parents do mate. But they just call it "food".

Mansfield and all of the surrounding area has never been the same since the pit, ( mining industry ) closed down. Overnight, thousands of miners lost their jobs and the money they earned, that would have been spent in the local area economy was'nt there any more. It was not just miners that lost their jobs but also shops, cafes, leisure centres and other industries that relied on the mining industry also closed down in the knock on effects of the pit closures. To this day the area has never recovered and probably never will.

My grandson will be 3 in July, yes he was born in Hong Kong and lives there with his mummy and daddy, he loves his asian food, especially sushi, , been eating it since 1 year old, but when he comes to visit me in Blackpool, he loves his carvery and fish n chips etc haha xx

A buffet is totally against the essence of Chinese food, which is cooked hot and fast. Leaving it in heated trays for a long time and a lot of the flavour and goodness is gone. Also perhaps it's mostly a Northern thing to have chips with everything, even in a Chinese and then to mix rice and noodles and potatoes, much like pasta and chips.

I remember Mansfield being a bustling market town, it was a Saturday outing. Four Seasons centre, fresh fruit and veg from the market. Kiddies had a ride near the Bentinck Memorial and we finished off with cockles and mushy peas from the stall near The Ram. A sad demise.😢 Glad I live in the Highlands now. Nice looking place. Great vlog as always.

5:23 Mansfield unfortunately looks like the majority of northern towns.

Mansfield has changed a lot, it is also my home town. I remember the market being massive and the second hand flea market was a treasure trove for everything you wanted, the four seasons shopping Centre was always packed, it all changed just as I was leaving school and the pits closed, the whole area died. I moved to Grimsby on the east coast and it was worse! I now live in ollerton and love it! compared to the east coast it is paradise, specially with sherwood forest on my doorstep

It feels that the areas all around and including Mansfield have never recovered from the pit closures and the heart of the communities has ripped out..what used to be proud market towns are now pretty depressing places.

Watched two videos back to back the food there looked fabulous from what I saw foemr me would have been a 10 so was the food not as good as it looked ??Regards Keith x

I do enjoy an all you can eat. Being Scottish, I am tight fisted, and my only gripe is the price some places charge for the drinks. I've been in some where you'll get a pint of soft drink for around £4, and it came from a 2ltr bottle. There is one in Edinburgh that has free refills on the drinks.

Looked quite there Lee in town. Food looked good though. Singapore Chow Mein my absolute favourite Chinese food although I do love sweet & sour too. Never tried salt & pepper Chips.

5:51, Sweet and Sour coming up. Its every town centre these days Lee not just Mansfield. My town Bishop Auckland has been decimated by out of town Drive Thru's, Retail Outlets.

Who feeds Chinese food to their children you ask, well Chinese people do obviously. 🙄 silly statement. Also people who aren’t Chinese actually feed it to their children too. Not everything is unhealthy, in fact it’s very nice.😊👍

I do love a Chinese buffett. When i was working in Canada in 96, the guys i was working with thought i was a bit of awuss because i did`nt go out beering it up every night. But, when it came to the infamous "Mandarin Chinese Buffett", one of our guys, a 6ft+ rugby player held the record of 7 platefuls. I knew i had a big appetite, so made a point of having 8 platefuls and held the record till our contract out there finished. I felt absolutely stuffed to the point of feeling very uncomfortable for the night, BUT, i had the great pleasure of being our groups man for eating. Great vid Lee, and yes, Mansfield does look like it`s seen better days, which is a shame because it looks like it has some lovely old buildings.

Defo lots of small plates & try as many starters and mains and hold off on the rice chips noodles til the last plate or just add tiny amounts with the mains. I used to pile up the plate but got defeated too quickly as you did. This video has made me way hungry!

Always love an "All you can eat Chinese". We lost ours in Essex. Always think the ambience is a bit staff canteen ish. Wait 15 minutes and you'll be hungry again.

That place looked new not the usual dated Chinese décor. Where were the other diners? Any prawns? I go for the stuff that is valuable, beef, prawns Chinese style pork and not teh common stuff like chicken dishes.That looked good and Monday a good day to go. Mansfied not that far from Loughborough as I often go to IKEA and Ilkeston.Need that wheelchair access for wife. Great review and useful

The food looks lovely and iv not actually been to an all u can eat becus tbh. I cant reli eat too much in one sitting so altho it all sounds great. I don't think I wud be able to take advantage nd it wud end up costing me double for the amount that I wud prob only be able to eat anyway. It does however give u the chance to sample lots if dishes that maybe iv looked at but never been brave enuff to try at the fear of not liking nd wasting my money. So it's good to get that opportunity. I always scour the menu but opt for the chow mein everytime. I need to try more different. a set meal around my area is about the same price nd that wud prob last me for a couple of sittings maybe more if there's lots so it's swings nd roundabouts price wise but the all u can eat is great option for trying different dishes.

That’s the most depressing looking Chinese restaurant I’ve ever seen. It’s like the recruitment company went bust and the Chinese buffet moved in the day after and just rearranged the furniture. Glad the food was better than the ambience and decor. 🍻

You were literally the only person in there, and the town looked absolutely deserted as well. They must just be surviving on takeaway orders. Anyway, I have never understood why you would go and sit down in a Chinese restaurant and get chips ???...criminal behaviour.

Lee ,Ghurka and Jade Delight ( Fri Sat Sun £18) Both Chinese buffet in Blackpool.Can personally recommend both Jade Delight on Bond Street is my favourite.

Is it same as many towns, parking costs send people out of town, York is horrendous, Harrogate ok and many west Yorkshire Towns cheap parking
