See now, you’re not about to get me to go to Claire’s to spend MORE money on tiny little things! 😂 I’m just gonna see what I can make right here at home.
I can't tell u how thankful I'm to u, most of the other channels usually make etsy haul or any other mini haul but seriously froggy u make my day whenever u post! The thing I love most bout u is not only u make etsy, other brand accessory haul but also dollar tree, chairs, target Aah thank goodness u are in this world! Absolutely luv it
Definitely love the sparkly top and the maxi dress. I bought quite a few scrunchies in a metallic like fabric.. had no idea what to do with them... Thanks!
@@MyFroggyStuff will it fit other dolls? Like 16" dolls (not sure if you have any, like Robert Tonner?) Noticed you had some extra chain to adjust the size. Smart lady
For more variety of mini charm bottles, I saw some at Walmart! I found them in the button/charm isle. They have tall ones which look like for a science classroom or lab, and mini once’s like the boba Claires. I used mine for mini jars of jam for a picnic Sene!
How cute!! Those perfume samples department stores used to give out might work too, those were pretty tall though. Not sure if they still do that (give out samples)
I was considering going to Claire’s after seeing people get these for their dolls, but looks like diy is much cheaper! Thanks for showing an alternative!
I work at Claire's and I collect all those earrings for the same purpose!!! They are perfect! Claires have lots of cute unique "minis" especially the pendants on our bracelets and earrings
I am happy you still enjoy Claire's. Whenever I even look at a Claire's store, the people I go with, even my family find it weird I still like Claire's. I can't help it, this store has the prettiest things and when I was young, it always felt magical going in. Seeing all the stuff that relates to me is wonderful.
Just need a mini funnel or small pipeing bag. Then get some rounder beads. And if you want it a bit more clear. At Micheals in the paint section, there is a acrylic blender. It looks like white paint but it drys more clear and it is easy to get a pastel colors
That top from the earrings looks so cute! As soon as I saw it I thought "halter top". Also, while I like seeing you turn scrunchies and similar items into clothes, I wonder if it would be cheaper to buy fabric remnants from stores? Small pieces of fabric that can't be used for large projects, but might be perfect for doll projects :) It would be cool to see what you could make with old clothes too!
OMG those drinks!! The sparkly top!! Can you use the hoop earrings as bracelets too? Maybe if you pierced the ears at an angle going towards the back if their heads, the studs would face forward more? Not ideal solution.
I love everything you purchased. I never thought of using earrings as accessories for my dollies. Now I have to spend money on earrings!!! Claire's here I come!!!
The boba beads so they are just little dots instead of circles is genius! I have been watching you channel for a long time so I've gotten used to a lot of your crafting tricks but I gasped at that! Great work!
You really inspired me to start crafting during the pandemic 2020.When I was out of work.I have been collecting celebrity barbies and regular barbies for the past 5 years.I just love everything you do..I make doll rooms out of cardboard boxes.its so much fun and it relaxes me.Thanks for the coolest Ideas ever. .
Great job Toya. I love your crafts. I especially love the top and dress. I have made similar dresses . I definitely have to get those earrings to make the top. I will probably try to make the drinks for the dolls,I have the things to make them. Dollar Tree usually has the little glass bottles that are empty in the craft section. I think that nail polish that dries transparent would works on the drinks too. The earrings that you made the top from could also be made into a purse by making a small pocket of fabric and putting the earring part on the outside.
Froggy you are helping all of doll collectors around the world! Love that you show you can find anything basically any store even cheap stores for dolls!
Love the sparkly top. I often buy the drinks and food items for Barbie as well. You might be able to use the post earrings as rings for the dolls. I make a whole between the fingers and trim the post so that it is short enough.
As Toya suggested, Yes. I'm in love with the sparkly top and the maxi dress. It's so casual and really comfy. And plus, the DIY Boba Tea was my favorite DIYs so far. Overall, I really like the Fun Finds from Claire's. Amazing details on the tea and the waffles Love it. P.S Other Favorites are: The Gummy bear keychain, the waffles and the drinks
you should do a fun finds from hobby lobby!! they have doll furniture and accessories and the jewelry section has charms that could be great for the miniverse!!
I love this idea of taking other objects and making them to use for dolls. I would like to use the earrings in my Barbie's like this, but I'm afraid of getting the "green ear". I would also like to use earrings for humans in my Smart Dolls, but again, I'm afraid of the green ear! Any suggestions on how to keep it from doing that? Thank you! I love your channel and always look forward to your videos!
Ooh, ooh, I might be able to help with this! Thoroughly coat the studs and metallic backs of the earrings with clear nail polish, and remove them when you're not playing with the doll. The nail polish trick is one I learned from a friend years ago, who had a metal allergy. She had to use it on the back of the button on her jeans or else her stomach would break out in a rash. It seals the metal and helps prevent it from transferring to the dolls.
@@kattriella1331 yes, took a jewelry making class in college, made rings with nickel, copper bracelet. Coating with clear polish kept them shiny so they don't oxidize, and protected my skin too
I'd recommend the dollar store to find headbands. They're a heck'n lot cheaper and usually have more interesting patterns on them. Also, another good place to find interesting material for doll clothes is the scarf section at Goodwill. People are always buying pretty scarves thinking they'll wear them, then... don't. To Goodwill they go.
I remember Claire's stores when I was in Japan and they had anazing stuff! Those miniatures u found are so cute. I wish we have this shops in my country but there aren't 😕, we only have few Claire's items in a branch toy store cuz it is considered stuff for kids due to the fancy look and it'seven expencive. 😑 Btw with the scrunchy u remembered me about Hair Style and Style Magic barbies from the 80's who used a scrunchy as skirt that then u could use for ur hair too. I have Style Magic Whitney in my Barbie's collection and I love her! ❤
