Welcome to my biggest project yet! 5 Months in the making (or delaying) and it's finally here, the sequel to P5 Locations IRL! I just want to thank everyone who has waited so patiently for this video, it took a long time to make, and life got in the way of me finishing it for a long time. But it's here now, and I'm so excited to see all of your reactions. I'll be back shortly with some life updates to catch all of you up to speed!

Hello. I am Japanese and one of the Persona lovers. I knew some of the places that were modeled after Persona 3, but thanks to your video, I was able to learn more about places that I didn't know about, such as the Naganari Shrine that appears in the game. I HATE YOU FOR THAT ENDING OMG!!! XD It is a shame that not everything is around to see anymore- but as you said it is fitting for the theme of the game. Death and change. I actually had no idea Odaiba was a location used as inspiration. Definitely need to get me a Makoto Yuki Cosplay and go around spring. Ahh that station is definitely going to be on the list!

That's a good editing video! Venus Port ended its business in 2022 due to bad management caused by COVID. A lot of people came from the closing ceremony and it's still in people's memory... Now it's turned into a theme park, attracting people. It was fun and impressive that even places with unknown exact background went to the most similar places lol

I just wanted to say that this video may have just reignited my drive to visit Japan. For so many years I've wanted to go but could never afford to and although I did get an opportunity when I was studying Japanese in college, I turned it down in favour of planning my own trip and have regretted it ever since. Unsurprisingly, as it does, life happened and I've never been in a position financially where I can justify such an expensive trip but nowadays I am slowly but surely becoming more financially stable and can actually think about doing all the things I couldn't before. It feels strange to say, but watching this video has made me quite emotional. Persona 3 has had such a huge impact on my life and I think it will always be my favourite video game of all time, if not piece of media period. Seeing the real life inspirations for the setting of the game is pretty surreal and I'm saying that while sitting at home watching someone else experience it. I think I'm going to seriously think about saving for that trip I planned all those years ago and I'm definitely going to include some of the locations you mentioned in that. I realise that none of this probably means anything to anyone else, but I just wanted you to know that your video has actually been a pretty big inspiration and made me consider things I hadn't seriously thought about in a looooooong time. Thank you for sharing and I hope you have a wonderful day/evening!

Thank you so much for sharing, it makes me really happy that you feel that way! If anything, making these videos is my way of sharing with a community, I want to inspire people on some level to have a curiosity and drive for exploring their own lives. I hope I can give something special to people, but I also don't want to be idolized for it (at the end of the day I'm just a guy who's good at editing and talks too much lol). But it's also critical for me to respect whatever game I am covering, because I know that it's important to other people; it's important to me too. So get out there, and I really hope you can make that dream happen. If there's any time to do it, it's now, or at least much sooner rather than later. (Also, I recommend coming in Fall or Spring if possible, but that's also when everyone is coming so it may be difficult). Thanks again, wishing you the best!

Great Edits mate. Inspiring me to pick up my own game on my edits. But I feel so silly that I didn't pick up on thr Monorail station when I was there. We transferred from the subway and went straight up, so I completely missed it. Keep up the great work legend!

This is a really cool channel, I like how it shows a more grounded view of Japan and not the idolized version we often see in most media. I'm glad I stumbled upon this as I hope to do foreign exchange to Japan in the coming years so it's nice to see a bit of what life will be like there if I do go. Anyways keep up the great work!

This is an interesting comment! I've often thought back and forth about how my videos represent Japan, especially because I know that editing can be deceiving (my former film professor once said that "A filmmaker's job is to emotionally manipulate the audience into feeling what you want them to feel with editing, music, and visuals"). I want to create a balance between expectations and reality, because I can edit something to look really smooth and fun, while everyday life is naturally more of a grind than that. I think if you go to Japan, having a healthy expectation can really make the experience that much more enjoyable. Definitely pursue that exchange program, your life will never be the same. Good luck!

What a nice surprise from the YT algo! I played P3-5 and playing P3R again, with P3 being my favourite. Going to japan for the first time as well in fall so really loved this! It sucks a lot of the big tokyo locations have shut down like Sega Ikebukuro, but at least we have the nostalgia from games and shows 🙏 The editing in this video is also so seamless. Otsukare desu~

It's actually really hard.. I have some videos myself with 30k plus views, but like 95% of my audience isn't subbed. It's pretty common. I for sure subbed to this channel, but unfortunately youtube pushes low quality content versus youtubers like thia gentleman that have good quality content. Fun tip: The park where you can see the rainbow bridge is close to the Diver City mall, where in front of the mall stands the infamous life-size Unicorn Gundam statue. If you plan to visit Odaiba, feel free to drop by Diver City and say hi to the gundam statue there. BTW, the unicorn gundam seems to sometimes suffer from technical issues from what I've heard.
